I've been going here since it opened and it's a five-star spot. Always a good cut, and the energy in there is always good. Not pretentious or intimidating.

Rosie gives some of the highest quality cuts in all of NYC. She is thin, fiery, and an artist with craft. Cannot recommend her and this shop enough.

I needed a haircut bad. I arrived and Rosie was unfazed by my scruffy appearance and I left with a nice tight cut. She was great, a real pro.

I’ve tried so many different shops before finding Head of State. Besides a great cut every time, the vibe of the shop is awesome and eclectic (but somehow just right) music playing every visit. Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Took my Grandson to Mr. Bee for his “back to school” haircut. What a great experience! All of the barbers were super friendly and super courteous! Mr. Bee was able to make my Grandson feel comfortable and really listened to what he wanted. We both walked out of this really cool shop feeling great! It’s definitely our permanent shop from now on!
