Superior quality cuts and professional service, all at a very reasonable price - this sets Great Style Barbers and Natan apart from any barbers in the area. I am a lifelong New Yorker and this shop is my favorite on the upper east side - I have always gotten the haircut I want and have been treated like a friend each time I walk in. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

For the best haircut in the city with a modest price, come to this excellent Barber shop. They are friendly and sociable with a smile. My Barber is Yelena. In my opinion one of the best Barber in the city.

I’ve been going to Natan and Yelena for years, and they’re hands-down the best barbers around. Not only do they give consistently amazing haircuts, but the whole experience feels personal. My brother goes here too and won’t trust anyone else with his hair. They’re also incredibly welcoming. I even bring my dog with me, and Natan always has treats ready like she’s part of the family. It’s the kind of place where you look forward to your appointment because you know you’re leaving with a great cut and good vibes. Couldn’t recommend them more!

My barber was Max, most people on this sight mention the name Natan as their barber. I explained to Max what I wanted but he did not follow my instructions. I asked for my hair to be LONG on the sides, with them combed back, he did not leave them long. If he had a reason for not doing it that way, he should have told me before he started cutting. On another issue, many barbers will taper the sideburns with scissors, the way I prefer it be done, he used a machine. I walked in with my hair parted on the left side, I gave him no instructions to change that. He finished my haircut with all my hair combed back. He did not seem like a hair stylist as the name of the barbershop suggests. He charged $40 for the haircut and $5 for what I thought was a very brief, less than minimum scrubbing effort, hair wash.

Natan gave me a great haircut today. He's a skilled barber with a good eye. After having a buzz cut for over 20 years I found it challenging to find a barber who really listens. I'm very happy to have someone I trust with my hair now.
