I'd been going to the same barber for a while, but decided to try a new place. I wanted something a little different than just a simple barber cut. After reading reviews of Friend Of A Barber, I decided to book an appointment with Mark. Turns out I got the best haircut I've ever had. Mark asked me how I wanted my hair cut. He listened and proceeded to do exactly what I asked for. He didn't rush through it, like a lot of Barbers do.He used both clippers and scissors to achieve the cut I wanted. I could tell he really cares and wants to give his clients the cuts they ask for. If you're looking for a Barber Shop that feels more top end, Friend Of A Barber is the place to go. I'll now be going to see Mark, for all my haircuts.

STRANGERS ALWAYS SMILE AT ME AFTER I LEAVE HERE I frequently come in with a different style request and have always been met with enthusiasm about the cut and the expertise to know how to execute. The vibe of the shop is friendly, comfortable, clean, and genuinely cool. Greg has been my go-to barber for nearly twelve years, but every barber here has absolutely laced me at some point! I’m really proud of this group of barbers for having established their own shop out of consistency, hard work, and excellence in their craft.

Been going to Mark for fifteen years. Followed him through five different barbershops and now I'm so stoked he's got a spot of his own. Best cuts in the city and I send any one who asks for a new barber to him. Shop is good vibes too.

Came in to see Mark for the first time on 2/28. I was just looking for a minor trim and let him know I wanted to keep my hair pretty long and specifically requested did not want to see any skin on the sides or back of my head. He said cool all good and got to work with the clippers. Before I could say anything I had a fade on the sides and back, skin fully visible. Looks like he used a 2 guard on my head, which is gonna show a lot of skin. Giving a few stars because the shop was clean and the guys seem nice but unfortunately was pretty disappointed by the cut I got.

What a great barbershop this is! These guys do a fantastic job making everyone feel and look amazing. Love getting greeted by Marty at the door. The shop is always clean & organized in a nicely designed space.

Crisp cuts in a great space. I’ve followed Josh to three different spots since I moved to NYC. He’s designed and built this space out with a clean, spacious & modern look, and the cuts and conversation are top notch as always.
