I travel all the way from the Bronx every two weeks or week to see zay the barber and he never disappoints the crispy line up , the beard work , his attention to detail and cleanliness and above all things how he listens to exactly what the customer wants and follows through every time flawlessly his hands are blessed for real I wish I can give more than a 5 star.

Pree cut my hair last night at 8pm. It was my second time. He paid attention to what I requested and he is a skilled artist with the scissors and received training all over the world. After my hair washing this morning it looks better than ever. Thank you.

Lex cut my hair and did an amazing job and I will definitely be booking with Lex again. Also met the shop owner while i was waiting and he was super cool and friendly. I definitely recommend this shop :)

Lex has been my go-to person for fades, beard trims, and scissor cuts. I have looser curly hair if that helps. She has an exceptional eye for detail and I highly recommend her.

HIRO is a master of his craft. This guy will notice a single whisker out of place at the of the cut and make sure he doesn’t let you out of the chair until its taken care of. Mike’s hospitality is genuine and whether ur new or a regular, everyone is greeted and made to feel like they’re welcome. Overall, no pretentious BS here. Every barber on the roster is very good at what they do and if theres any deviation from expectations on the 1st cut, I KNOW the 2nd one is the reason you don’t go anywhere else.

We have been going to the shop for over 6 years. I don’t trust any other place to cut my boys hair. Having a son who’s on the asd spectrum makes haircuts not easy but franks chop shop has been a safe space for my son to get his haircuts. He loves going and can’t wait to come back each time. Definitely recommended to all mamas out there

Had this place recommended to me by a friend. Barber was a no show for the appointment, after a half hour they rescheduled me with another barber for later in the day. Annoying but it happens. I had a reference photo and was super clear and detailed about what I wanted. The cut he gave me was okay, but not at all what I asked for. Spent a while growing out my hair and now I have to start over so pretty ticked off about that. The shop itself was cool, clean, and there’s a cute dog. Hopefully it was just an off day but not worth $65 ($80 with tip) and I probably won’t go back.

I’ve been coming here for 10 years. Hiro has probably cut my hair over 200 times. Such a talented barber. Great fades and good scissor work. The barbershop is nice too. Good vibes overall. Highly recommend.

one of the most unique and authentic new york experiences ever! Highly recommend. the vibe the energy the art the barbers even the bathroom is awesome!! I mean from the moment you walk in you’re exposed to legendary artists art work, photos and portraits by historical photographers and the cutest shop dog Lilo Da Butch on instagram. The attitude, the genuine care, the positive energy, Each one’s unique style, the professionalism of these barbers are what makes them new york city’s best of the best barbers around.l in my opinion. But go see for yourself catch a quick glimpse, get a cut and shave, try to take it all in-in one sitting. i bet you wish you had two heads so you could get two cuts and enjoy the space for as twice as long. Frank’s Chop Shop is great and Tommy is the best barber I’ve ever had. He approached every cut like a collaboration and is genuinely invested in the work he does. Every cut is incredible and he’s super friendly as well. Couldn’t recommend Frank’s (and Tommy specifically) more highly.
