I brought my boyfriend in for a haircut and we finally found the perfect barber Max is honestly the best barber I’ve ever seen The haircut was flawless fast, clean, and super professional. I truly didn’t expect to find this level of quality in NYC for that price. Highly recommend

Paid $80 for a haircut with Maksym at Fellow Barber – West Village and it was nothing like what I requested. I asked for a scissor-only cut!! and he still used clippers, creating a hard, uneven line on the sides that looks rushed and unblended. I didn’t feel heard at all. Definitely not worth the price and won’t be returning.

Max was great! Efficient and intentional, he fit me in for a last minute cut. Despite it being the end of a busy day, he was dialed in and gave me not some generic cut but one that fit my hair and head shape. Thanks Max!

I have been going here and getting haircuts with Nike K, every month for about a year now. My whole life I dreaded the barber but ever since her I have not once walked out the salon upset. Nike is the best barber I have ever had and I couldn’t recommend more. Not only is the haircut good but the service is great too. She is a great conversation!

Stan is a wizard with those scissors. My hair was past my shoulders and he cut and styled in about a half hour, the attention to detail still perfect. I will definitely be going back to him in the future, truly the best haircut I’ve had. THANK YOU STAN!

I walked in close to closing looking for a simple shape up without expectations. The front desk offered to make an appointment for the next day but I was only passing through the area so that wasn't an option. I thanked them regardless and went to leave as I didn't want to hold anyone up at the end of a probably busy weekend workday for the barbers. Max stopped me halfway out the door and offered to help me out even though every other barber was packing up. 5 minutes later and I had exactly what I was looking for. Nice people, great cut, highly recommend. Ask for Max!

I came in for a quick cleanup—just a skin fade and a neck trim. I was assigned to Bob, who assured me he understood what I needed. However, within minutes he said he was done, and when I looked in the mirror, I saw three distinct lines where he’d used different clipper guards. There was no attempt to blend the fade—it looked unfinished and uneven. When I asked him to fix it, he tried but was unable to blend the lines. I asked if he would use scissors to help blend it properly, but he continued with clippers and didn’t seem to have the skill or technique to fix the issue. At that point, I decided to cut my losses and see if anyone else could help. The man at the front desk told me that everyone was busy and that I’d need to come back another day. He didn’t offer any solution or apology, and seemed completely uninterested in helping resolve the issue. Thankfully, Beth overheard and kindly offered to step in. She was lovely, apologetic, and did an excellent job fixing the fade. She completely salvaged the situation. What left me truly shocked was that after all of this, the cashier still charged me—and not just for a cleanup, but for a full haircut which I did not get. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, no apology, and no attempt to make things right. Beth was the only reason I left with a smile, and I would come back to see her. But the overall customer service experience—especially from the cashier—was disappointing. A little empathy and accountability would have gone a long way.

Thankful for JoJo the barber-ian! 💈 . I was in a bind and got in last minute, and looked like an extreme makeover -face/beard edition! Legit. Enjoyed the face massage and kindness and cleanliness of the crew! Completely satisfied customer. Bring your billfold as this is luxury high end shop, not your average shop.
