Had a great haircut with Vasyl. Excellent service, great energy, and very attentive to detail. He listens carefully to what you want and delivers every time. Very talented and skilled — highly recommend and will definitely be back.

I want to mention master Vasyl! I’ve already been to him three times. Finding your master when you’re new in a city is a real quest, but I was recommended Vasyl and it was a 100% match from the first time. Highly recommend!

Stephen Wu is truly one of the best. For over 3 years, he’s delivered every single time. From long post-COVID hair to short summer cuts. He listens, checks in before each cut, and knows exactly how to tailor a style to you. But what really sets him apart, though, is how well his cuts grow out. Even 5 weeks later, my hair still has great shape and texture. He is amazing; just book with him, and you will see.

I’ve had my hair cut by Stephen Wu here for years, and the only reason I’ve hesitated to leave a review in the past is I don’t want it to be impossible to snag an appointment 😬. Stephen takes the time explaining how to care for your hair and has you looking super fresh leaving the shop. Best part is even 3 weeks later after it grows in it STILL looks great. The shop is clean and cozy as well, and I love the hair products they have especially the mineral spray.

If you are going to see ANYONE book with Stephen Wu. I have long female hair and was hesitant about going to a barber, but knowing that Stephen had an extensive salon background made me comfortable changing up who I let touch my hair. He has an insane eye for precision and detail I never got at a salon. My split ends and grown out layers were no match for his artistry, and he gave me an amazing cut that has grown out beautifully. Definitely recommend giving him a try!!

Absolutely blown away by my experience with Vasyl. Hands down the best barber in NYC! I’ve been to many barbers across the city (and beyond), but no one comes close to his skill, precision, and attention to detail. The haircut was perfect, exactly what I wanted, and even better than I imagined. If you’re looking for a true professional who knows his craft inside out, Vasyl is the guy. Highly recommend!

Outstanding and fabulous as always. Noemi is my stylist. She always makes me feel comfortable and has an amazing memory of previous appointments and my appearance in where to go in shaping, cutting and styling. I can relax and even close my eyes and not worry ever. The salon/Nomad is extremely personable and friendly and welcoming. 🥰❤️
