Had a very frustrating first experience here. I specifically requested a Senior Barber and was scheduled with Daniel who has good reviews. After arriving on time and waiting 20 minutes, I was seated with a non-Senior Barber (Serik) without being told. I only realized after the haircut when the barber corrected me on his name. At checkout, I told the receptionist I had been seen by the wrong person. She admitted she switched me to Serik because Daniel was unavailable, but offered no apology for the lack of communication. While I was charged the lower rate for a non-Senior cut, the issue is the total lack of transparency - had I been told Daniel was unavailable, I would have happily rescheduled. Swapping barbers and hoping I wouldn't notice until it was too late is incredibly unprofessional. I won't be back.

Do not go! The most expensive Haircare I've had at a Barber Shop and the worst result! Bad service, very low quality barber's skills, uneven haircut overall, fading is a disaster, doesn't know how to remove texture without removing all my hair! The stations are not clean, it's all over the place. I've been because I work above in the building, but will never be back.

been here twice. first time was with a less experienced barber and they didn’t even remotely do what I asked for - even with a bit of encouragement and coaching. second time was yesterday with someone more experienced, sadly the same experience. don’t be fooled by the nice storefront, this place isn’t it.

Rafael is great. If you’re looking for someone professional with breadth and depth of knowledge, highly recommend booking him. First time getting a cut from him and he immediately understood what I needed and did a great job.

Had my first haircut back at Fellow Barber after leaving NYC about a year ago and glad I went back. Andrii was fantastic, thorough, but timely, and offered great company. Highly recommend

Fellow Barber in Hudson Yards is such a solid spot for a clean, confident cut. The shop is their big flagship at 20 Hudson Yards, and it has this modern classic barbershop feel, bright, neat, and relaxed without trying too hard.  Huge shout out to Rafael, he was awesome. He listened, asked the right questions, and then just nailed it. My husband walked out with one of the best haircuts he has had in a long time, sharp, effortless, and exactly his style. Rafael has tons of experience and you can feel it in the way he works.  We loved the vibe, friendly team, great energy, and you leave feeling taken care of. If you are in Hudson Yards and want a reliable, elevated cut, this is the place.

Pamela Canzano gave me one of the best haircuts. I've tried places all around New York and Pam C was one of the more attentive hair stylists I've worked with. She listened to what I was looking to do and made it happen. It's always a little nerve-wracking trying out someone for the first time but I could tell Pam is super experienced and has a level of attention to detail that I really haven't experienced elsewhere. She's awesome and definitely going to be my go to moving forward!!

I came by for my appointment shortly after the gentleman who left a negative review before me (sameerd54). I saw the same barber he mentioned, Andrii, who is awesome, and I felt compelled to post this to set the record straight. I don't write a lot of Google reviews, but it pains me to see good people get dinged online unfairly. I recently moved into the neighborhood and have come to Fellow Barber several times. I've have never experienced any kind of delay or anything less than friendly and prompt service. Andrii always takes his time and does an awesome job with my hair, remembering my preferences and making sure to get everything perfect. The fact that this sameerd54 guy who wrote the bad review seems to think he is entitled to a free haircut because he waited 10 extra minutes tells you all you need to know. Sure it's annoying to have to wait a little, but if they offered him an apology and 40% off, which seems more than fair. To go blast these guys in a review, when they are always so humble and hard working, just makes him look like a total jerk. I've had haircuts all over the world, at fancy salons and dirt cheap barbershops, and I think these guys nail the balance of great service, a clean and classy experience, and a relaxed and unpretentious environment. I'll certainly be going back to Andrii for my next cut and would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends.

Do not use this place. Horrible customer service. I booked an appointment with Andrii at 12::00PM on 12/4. i arrived at 11:50am and checked in with the receptionist who should be fired immediately. The receptionist said Adriii is with a client and will be ready in a few minutes. I sat down and could see him giving someone else a shave and did not look even close to finishing. I waited 25 minutes until 12:15 when i asked if i was getting my haircut for free. she said no and could offer a 40% discount. i declined and said i wanted it for free. she said i need to discuss with the barber. i said no and no one has said a word to me as i waited for almost 30 minutes while the barber walked by me multiple times. he said he didnt know i was sitting there and didnt know the time of his appointments. i understand things dont always run on time but they have my phone number and could have called me to let me know instead of having me sit there. and they could have given me a realistic time when he would be ready. it felt like being on a united flight trying to leave ewr. worst part is that the place was empty. fellow barber could give a ted talk on how not to run a business. and that receptionist should be fired immediately. go yankees!

I've been a Fellow Barber client for years and have always had good experiences. But my partner started going to Ralph at the Hudson Yards location, and he came home absolutely raving about his cuts. After hearing him talk about it nonstop, I figured I had to try Ralph myself. I can sincerely say it was one of my best decisions. I've suffored from dandruff forever, and Ralph gave me a product and a few tips that made it disappear completely. Additionally, he provides me with the best cuts and styles for my curly hair that I've ever had. When I get my haircut now, I just sit back and close my eyes; Ralph knows exactly what to do. I never have any doubt that it's going to be perfect. My partner and I are both hooked and will be lifetime regulars. Thanks so much, Ralph!
