I saw a random guy with the cleanest cut and asked where he got it from. Told me to go to Johnny here and I’ve been going ever since I moved to the city. I’ve been coming to Fading Time for two years now and haven’t left. Johnny has been good to me. There were many times when my hair would get too long and I’d pass a barbershop, tempted to enter and let another man cut my thicc hair. But I couldn’t do that to my boy. Come here and let Johnny treat you like the man you’ve always wanted to be.

Johnny hooks it up every time. I leave looking like a Calvin Klein model and I’m not even pretty. What he does with the clippers is like a samurai with a sword, 6 years of amazing haircuts

FadingTimes Barber Shop is hands down the best spot for a haircut in NYC. Every barber here is top-notch, but Johnny is the one I go to every time. He’s got an incredible eye for detail, always takes his time, and consistently delivers a perfect cut. You can tell he genuinely cares about his craft and making sure you walk out looking sharp. The shop itself has a great vibe—clean, welcoming, and never feels rushed. The whole team is professional, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. I’ve made getting a cut here a monthly routine because, honestly, it’s the best experience I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend!

Danny is the best in the game. We’ve come here multiple times, once a month at that and he nails it every time. He fixes up not only his head but beard and eyebrows. The professionalism at this spot is game on. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a high quality haircut in a clean well kept shop.

We kicked off my best friend's bachelor party at Fading Time, and it was THE BEST PART of the bachelor party! No exaggerating. Johnny and the team there took GREAT care of us. The shop is nice, the location is great, and these guys have SKILLS! We all left looking cleeeean. The way Johnny hooked up my beard was crazy. Nice fade, straight edge razor line up, hot towel, the whole nine. I will definitely be back! Five friggin stars!

During my short trip in NYC, I found this barbershop from google and decided to try Johnny for my haircut as most comments for him were super positive. Johnny is an excellent barber. I must say I got the most satisfactory fade. He clearly understands how to cut asians hair and everything went so smooth and well. He was so meticulous and professional that I will revisit him for my next trip. I would definitely recommend him
