Isaac did an excellent job and really took the time to give me a great cut. Walking out my hair looked exactly how I wanted it. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back.

I've tried three other shops since moving to NYC, and I'm thrilled to say my search is over. Ben is a master technician. His work on my fade and hard part was meticulously detailed. The precision was outstanding; he left absolutely no stray hairs. This is my new go-to shop.

Haircut was maybe 10-12 minutes total, hair was cut with no texturing, layering, or styling in mind. Straight hard lines cut with scissors, I anticipated more texturing was coming after length was removed but by then there was too much hair removed to even be worth mentioning to rectify. The price ($50) for time spent and quality is bad.

Pretty lame experience. Made an appointment for 9am. When I arrived I was told gruffly “we just opened” and I said yes I have an appointment. The reaction seemed peeved above all else. I offered twice to come back later as they were still getting the store set up. They declined. Ultimately I was given a haircut in 12 mins, and it felt very rushed. I know it’s frustrating to have your setup flow interrupted, so I’d suggest not offering appointments before being ready.

This place is great. They’ve raised their prices a bit since opening but they’re still pretty reasonable comparative to other shops, plus they have a rewards punch card (a system I wish every barbershop had). Isaac can get you done with a skin fade in like 15 mins too. I’ve been coming here for a few months now and overall it’s an extremely clean, no frills, reliable barber shop.

It was my first experience at a barbershop and I have to say that true gentlemen work at this business with zero toxic masculinity. Issac did a great fade haircut for me and I feel so pretty and badass!

I brought my son into Excellence Barber with a BAD hair cut 30mins before they were closing. He came in with a fade that was uneven, patchy and had holes. Isaac fixed his hair, listen to my son’s detailed requests and he walked out feeling confident and grateful. Excellence Barber was fantastic!

The name says it all. I came for a complete makeover - ordered a style change. They delivered. Great result, excellent service and Isaac truly is an artist with scissors.
