Been going for 22 years and they are the best without a doubt. Haircut is $34 which a good deal for such an excellent cut. All the barbers do a great job and are very friendly.

I'm not satisfied. My usual haircut style is quite simple but the final cut doesn't match my instructions (I showed a photo). Not enough attention to detail. I even had to insist at the end to have the edges done with a razor. Maybe I was just unlucky...

Been frequenting this barbershop, in its old location and new. Long time patron, for nearly 25 years. Still the BEST haircut in the 5 boroughs and still reasonably priced. It is a crime to get your haircut anywhere else!!

I have been going to Julia at East Side Barber Shop for almost 3 years now and will not go any where else. She is extremely talented with her hair cutting skills, she actually listens to what you tell/ask her to do, which is so hard to find these days! Along with this she is extremely kind and caring and will not rush your cut like many other places do. She is a pleasure to talk with as well which is an added bonus. I highly recommend!

Mark and Eddie are both absolute best of the best in the business. I have been getting my hair cuts from these guys for over 10 years. They are hands down the best barbers in town. Every time I walk out of there shop, I feel like my confidence got a giant boost. To top it all, they are also one of the most friendly and genuine people you'll ever come across in New York. To sum it up - "Genuine guys that are master in their trade".

This place is incredible. Eddie and mark have been doing this forever and are true professionals. I have been coming here for years and live by this haircut. The service is perfect and fast, the price is extremely reasonable, and I am always very happy leaving! The vibes are also great and they are usually playing music too. Great conversations!! Highly recommend

I have been going to Mark and Eddie for over 10 years, and wouldn’t want to go elsewhere. They are a big part of the community. So I was so happy to see they were back after the COVID restrictions were lifted. It was great to see they are taking great precautions and are COVID certified. Welcome back Mark and Eddie!

My fiancé has been coming here for years and his hair always looks amazing. We were so happy they reopened recently! Mark has taken every precaution necessary and then some to make sure clients and staff are safe during the pandemic.
