Went to this Barbershop from July 2024-Sept 2025, a year through the times I been here I gotten a pushback hairline and the sides. As if they charge too much and mess up on purpose On Sept 1, 2025, went to the barber Aiman he pushed my hairline back badly, then I went back to the barber to just cut it off he pushed it back worse, and I ended up getting a black spot on my scalp.

Asked for a clean taper fade with a sharp lineup nothing complicated, just neat Showed a clear picture and my barber still gave me something completely different. He told me ‘I got you’… but clearly, he didn’t. Spent money and walked out mad. Won’t be coming back

I got my haircut here about a month ago and I haven’t forgotten about how terrible it was. I spent nearly 1.5 hours here, felt my barber try cutting the same spots over and over and over again, until he FINALLY showed me the mirror. What I saw was a completely uneven look. One side was significantly longer than the other, the lineups were awful, and to top it off, my hair was significantly shorter than I asked for. I ended up having to go to another barber RIGHT AFTER this, and he did a great job at salvaging what he could. I’ve never had to do that before in my entire life. I feel bad writing this review because my barber seemed like a really nice kid, but he has absolutely no command over my hair whatsoever. I will not be back.

Nicest barber in NYC and gives back to the community like health screenings, books for children, Stop Cancer weekend and so much more. Although you never know which celebrity you will find in Denny's chair he never fails to treat everyone that comes through the door like a star.

One day I was in the shop and it was around PROM SESSION in school and i listen to the barbers give this one young man GREAT ADVICE on how to handle his date to the prom that I was like FLOORED with the integrity and love they had for the youth. Also I have known Denny since my young 20's This place is a staple in HARLEM and the Black Community. #LONGLIVEDENNYMOE'S

Denny Moe's is a gentleman, scholar, and renowned photographer, offering a global barbering experience. Open 6 days per week and specializing in shape ups and haircuts. His establishment was designed solely for the well-educated man who takes pride in both his inner and outer appearance. Kudos to this incredible human being and his effortless abilities of providing a grade-A atmosphere within a historic community.

Maybe the other barber's are decent, but bro in charge is definitely not. So many red flags walking in that I ignored and now I'm left looking goofy with a terrible cut I paid and tipped for. I really question where the good reviews are coming from. I just know I will not go back and if you do try this place out, definitely don't let Denny Moe near your head.

Walked in, wasn't waiting for too long. I asked for a skin fade. The cut was clean, precise and efficient. He used a curl brush for the top, I didn't ask for it but it looked good! I'm definitely going back. DJ I think his name is cut my hair. Nice people in there and a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

I took my son here twice with the barber Sherlock he was very nice the place is relaxed however both times I gave specific instructions on how I wanted his hair cut and both times he cut it how he assumed I wanted it. The 2nd time I came I was giving him the benefit of the doubt but I can't spend extra expecting the best from all the hype I hear if this place for that I will keep it local. I was disappointed and I traveled a bit for this place.
