First time at Cutting Edge Barber Shop on the UES, and it won't be my last! Shelly was incredibly friendly, listened carefully to what I wanted, and delivered a quick, precise cut that turned out perfect. The place is spotless, and the service was top-notch; definitely coming back soon!

I’ve been coming to this barbershop on 2nd Ave in the Upper East Side for years and it’s consistently excellent. The space is always clean, the service is quick and efficient, and the barbers are clearly highly skilled. It is also very easy to book, which makes it incredibly convenient when fitting a haircut into a busy schedule. The hot towel service is a real standout and adds a premium touch that keeps me coming back. Reliable, professional, and one of the best barbershops in the Upper East Side. I genuinely get more compliments after a haircut here than I ever have anywhere else.

Writing a review on behalf of my husband - this place is great. He walked in for his appointment and they were thankfully able to squeeze him in! The owner (I think Arthur?) and the woman who cut my husbands hair, Shelly, were sooo welcoming and had great hospitality. This place is clearly a local favorite (for good reason! They even appeared to have regular doggy customers stop by the door too for a treat)! And Shelly did a great job with the cut. Thanks so much!! 5 stars for sure

Michael gave me the best cut I’ve had in years. So glad I stopped in! Ask him to tell you some stories of his time on TV shows and movie sets. Shop is much cleaner and feels more professional than others in the neighborhood.

Highly recommend this barbershop for high quality and consistent service, especially Shelly who always does excellent work. I have been coming here for the past few years and have always been happy with the results. You’d be hard pressed to find this value anywhere else in the city.

Arthur is the best barber in the UES. He runs a great shop and always delivers a high quality fade. I tried a handful of shops in the area before finding Arthur and none were as skilled. Highly recommend.

Arthur, Shelly and Gabi are the best barbers on the upper east side. Super friendly neighborhood spot. Gabi was incredibly thoughtful and experienced barber (3 generations!) who gave me a great cut and service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get a sharp haircut!

I was visiting NYC for the first time from out of town and needed a haircut. Artur was the perfect find! Found him online and all his rave reviews and 5 star ratings had me choose him. I was not disappointed. Great personable service and a highly skilled barber! I also went with the hot towel shave and that was a treat! I agree with all the comments and reviews for this place. The only thing I can say is that I lucked out with finding Artur and this place! Keep it up Artur, you got a good thing going!
