I would avoid, price was cheap but the haircut I got was very bad. I asked for some revisions and he obliged, but he kept ruining it so I ultimately stopped so no further damage would be done.

What a great place to get a hair cut! Love my guy Manny, incredibly good and careful, the best barber I ever tried in NYC, totally worth the 40min drive from NJ!

Decent haircut, not fancy. You will need to know Spanish if you want a conversation. The barber paid attention to certain details, like cleaning up the eyebrows, the back of the neck, etc. The haircut looked fine. Cost $25.

I'm very meticulous with my fade. Since I first went there and explained how I would prefer it, I never had a let down. Once you get to them they will have no problems listening.

It's a large shop with plenty of barbers available. The prices aren't bad as well.

Absolute recommendation without a doubt. If youre looking for a barber in the area, come to Corniel! Hit up Juan LA Formula and he'll take care of you. Been coming here for four years now and not a single haircut wasn't spot on. Never had to wait, and every experience was perfect. Juan will take care of you and give you exactly what you ask for, and then some.

Very bad and unqualified barbers. Do not go there. The guy constantly kept talking with his friends and kept getting distracted by EVERYTHING. One time he was so much into conversation that he stopped cutting hair and started looking something up in Wikipedia. I'm shocked by the attitude as he was just casually going with the machine with no effort or attention. Also started trimming the hair without washing the head which is a big no for a barber - dude, after I wash it it's going to be a mess, you should wash it first. They also had no shampoo, at least that's what I was told. Imagine a barber shop with no shampoo. Not the worst experience I had in NYC, but certainly a bad one. Do not go there. P.S. Also tried to charge me $30 for a cut, which normally costs $20. I ended up paying 25$ which I highly regret. A very bad barber shop with some lazy and unqualified barbers.

Would recommend most people to avoid this place because of the barber that sits in the corner across the bathroom. He gives really bad haircuts and me and my friend both had bad ones from him. He’s always free so they dump off new clients on him I’m assuming. But what’s worse is that if there’s a problem the owner will not give you another stylist to fix it. They’ll just make you go back to the same one even though he gives really bad haircuts. It’s really awkward and a ridiculous policy because he will screw up your hair even more like he did for me. Shame because I had 2 other good cuts here. But I won’t be coming back for other ones.
