Nisan was my barber and provided an immaculate experience for both me and my friend who accompanied me, providing us with great conversation and amazing advice as to how to properly care for my hair. 10/10 would recommend and will come back till the day I die.

So it was the first time I had to get a haircut in the US--when about two months passed since I had settled in NYC. I did some googling and found this place, and decided to give it a try with a bit of anxiety. And it turned out to be one of the best experiences I had in the States. Nisan is a very skillful and committed barber. His skill is undoubted and versatile; he invests quite an incredible amount of time and energy to each customer, which always makes me feel great. Particularly, I'm impressed with the way he deftly addresses my straight and thick hair. I'd recommend this place for everyone.

I called the day before and got a 2 PM appointment the next day. I originally asked for a shorter cut, but Nisan suggested a different style—the result was better than what I had in mind. Nisan is thorough and skilled—no stray hairs, clean lines, and a style that matches my head/face shape well. He did well with my curly hair. He’s also a personable guy. $45 without tip

I've gotten some really good cuts from Nisan. He takes his time and doesn't rush and really listens to you to make sure you get what you want. All the little details are taken care of and you feel good right after the cut, very clean. Prices are very fair for the neighborhood and level of service. I'm moving out of the neighborhood but will try to make it back for a quality, dependable barber!

Nisan at Classic Scissors 2 got me in just in time for Valentine’s Day and gave me an outstanding haircut. My date loved it. Even though I was a walk-in, he provided the same level of care and attention you’d expect as a regular client. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

The fade is always clean, the shape grows out beautifully, and he never rushes. You feel taken care of from start to finish. On top of that, he’s just a genuinely kind, easygoing person. Had a real pleasant 1st time experience with Nisan (not easy to get in a 1st time visit) Nisan is super attentive of what you want. Good listener. Professional, can't ask for more. Will come back. Reasonably priced hair cut.

Nison consistently gives me a perfectly clean high skin fade. He does a great job clearing off all my cut hair so that there’s minimal to no clean up needed on my part. He’s been flexible to accept me as a walk in a few times but I recommend making an appointment. I’ll definitely be returning.

I have been going to Nisan for many years now. He makes scheduling easy and he has invested time and energy to make his barbershop a welcoming place. I always look forward to a haircut from Nisan and appreciate the quality of his work. He also does a great job cutting my son's hair :)
