Alyssa is a gem (well skilled in her craft, genuine, and an amazing person) For a while I was not thrilled with my haircuts going from barber to barber. Mostly because at the end of the cut, when they showed me the backside all I saw was my balding scalp. Yesterday, after my haircut, when Alyssa showed me the back side of my head, no more visible bald spot. And she’s aLao an really awesome person.

not a fan of these barbershops where the pricing is different for each barber. obviously the barber charging 85 for a cut is going to be more skilled than the person charging 55. but why would a customer feel good about getting the 55 cut when they know an 85 cut would have been better?? not a good feeling for the customer.

Archy is fantastic. I usually get a lot of anxiety around haircuts, but he makes the process comfortable and easy to talk through. He listens to what you want, offers great styling tips, and answers any questions about maintaining your hair. Highly recommend.

I’ve been to a lot of barbers, but Leo is on another level. He pays attention to every detail, listens to what you want, and somehow makes the cut come out even better than you pictured. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and you can tell he really cares about his craft. 100% recommend Leo.

Always get the best service from the team at Cartel! You need to come here without giving it a second thought. Gatekeeping who styles my hair though. Actually, after reading another review; Sebastian always cuts my hair and the results are always 10/10.

Great quality service! Sebastian was my stylist and he absolutely nailed the haircut. I came in with a specific vision of what I wanted, and he brought it to life perfectly. He really listened, paid attention to detail, and made sure the cut matched exactly what I had in mind. Not only is he skilled, but he’s also very professional and easy to talk to. Highly recommend Sebastian if you want a stylist who can turn your vision into reality!

From my son who sees Devin for his cuts: “His haircuts are amazing and he’s fun to talk to.” Great experience always. My son has my Asian hair and it’s taken us 5 years to find a good barber/stylist that can cut his tricky hair with multiple cowlicks. We love it and highly recommend him!

I’ve been going to Archy for haircuts and can honestly say he’s one of the best barbers I’ve ever had. He takes the time to really listen to what you want, and the result is always spot-on. His attention to detail is incredible — the fade is clean, the lines are sharp, and he makes sure everything looks perfect before you leave the chair. On top of the quality, Archy is welcoming and professional. The shop has a great atmosphere, and he always makes you feel comfortable. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and takes pride in his craft. If you’re looking for a barber who combines skill, consistency, and a great vibe, I highly recommend Archy. Booked an appointment the night before with Devin, and what a friendly guy he was, i was lucky to have chosen the right person. I wanted to get a haircut at least once during my travels in america from australia, and he didn't disappoint me at all. I told him that despite the fact that i got a haircut about 10 days ago prior to arriving here, i wanted to get one for the sake of it and to tidy it up a bit more. He did a stellar job at looking after me and my hair, spending way more time than i had really expected, i could tell he put lots of effort and meticulous care into making this perfect for me, and it really was! I felt great, and i could tell he knew what he was doing and was up to date with styles and trends. We had a good chat and he even went out of his way to accomodate and suggest places and things to do while i was in nyc. Super awesome guy and a really neat shop.
