I got a haircut from Violeta - it was an amazing job! Best barber I have ever had - she has been cutting my hair for a few months now and is the best. She works on Fridays and Saturday.

Carnegie Barber Shop is the definition of a classic neighborhood barbershop — warm, welcoming, and full of good people. The owner and staff are always friendly, professional, and dedicated to providing excellent service. They’re affordable, reliable, and easy to schedule with, and welcoming to walk-ins — making every visit simple and stress-free. Violeta, in particular, is fantastic. She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable from the moment you sit down. Her attention to detail is incredible, and she takes her time to ensure every cut is just right. You can tell she genuinely cares about how you look and feel when you walk out the door. She listens carefully, offers thoughtful suggestions, and consistently delivers results that exceed expectations. Highly recommend Carnegie Barber Shop!

Violeta is fantastic! She takes such care and precision with every cut, making sure you get exactly what you want. I always leave feeling confident and well taken care of. She’s professional, attentive, and clearly passionate about her craft. Highly recommend booking with her—she’s available on Fridays and Saturdays.

These guys are the best - I’ve been coming here for years. I take the train 90+ blocks to get my haircut here and it’s 100% worth it. If you are a guy looking for a classic cut out of a Bogart film this is the spot. I have never walked out of here unhappy, they know what they are doing. Solid 5 stars…

Best haircut in a while. Violeta took her time and did an extraordinary job! People often cut my hair way too short when I say “just a trim,” but my haircut today is exactly what I was hoping for. New loyal customer.

As a European tourist, I walked into Carnegie Barber Shop expecting just a beard trim—what I got was an unforgettable experience! The barber was incredibly friendly, skilled, and detail-oriented, giving me the perfect shape-up. And the best part? He even offered me a traditional Jewish shot, making me feel like a true local.

I highly recommend this place especially Violeta who always does an amazing job. She is very detail oriented and takes her time to give a very good haircut unlike many other places that make you feel rushed and not value for money. Violeta is also extremely personable and customer focused which makes going to Carnegie Barber Shop something I look forward to.

Finally had an authentic Barber Shop open up where I work! This place is brand spanking new and does a great job. Mel is a charming guy who gives a great haircut (even if I can't understand all of his small talk). Just try and guess his age! I bet you can't!
