I walked in here on a whim and honestly am blown away by the quality of haircut I received. I will be coming back here every month until I leave NYC and tipping this barber generously because he truly deserves it. He gave me an amazing fade after I simply showed him a picture. Please come here and support this business - you won’t regret it!

For the sake of full disclosure, I don’t have a lot of hair and cut it fairly short… but Canton is the place to go. Very friendly barber/proprietor. He does not speak much English… so be prepared… but he gives a great haircut and the price is 10% of what you’d pay uptown - probably about the price my mom paid for my haircuts when I was 7.

Prices went up $1 to $7. Still the best deal in town like come on. This is the homie that comes in clutch always.Honestly worth every penny and more. No english or speaking is needed. Just show him a pic and he’ll do it. Faded my sides very nice and couldn’t be happier.

If you want a fast and pretty nice haircut go to this guy! Only for $6(make sure you bring cash) I’m visiting nyc and decided I wanted a cut and had an amazing experience, very kind man. Couldn’t understand a word he was saying but he tried his best with actions, showed him a picture of a fade I wanted and he did an amazing job! Either you show him what you want or he just cuts it after he finishes with his other clients and even his own decision for a haircut is great! Even showed and taught my partner how to cut hair, best barber experience I’ve had!

Thank you My friend for recommended me this place. Amazing hair cut with super reasonable price($6). The barber was so professional and so kind. I will definitely come back every 2 week or a month. Finally, I found my regular barber shop. Highly recommended!! This is so worth the price for the work he did.

It's a decent cut for $6. Cash only. The space is very no frills in a basement that doubles as storage. I usually show him a picture of the cut I wanted, and at times it's not as short as I liked but still okay. Even speaking Mandarin it's somewhat hard to understand what he's saying, he does speak Fujianese dialect primarily.
