I have been coming here for many years. Probably over 20 since I moved into the area. There is also someone available to cut your hair. The owner is a good guy and prices are very reasonable. Without hesitation I recommend them to anyone needing a haircut.

This review's been a long time coming. I've been visiting Barauch since 2018 (7 years!) and can't recommend his work enough. The haircuts (including coloring) have always been the best and always leave the place feeling good about my appearance. Also, feel the spacious location is well maintained. And all services are reasonably priced.

Walked into the barber shop with some long hair, nothing down to the shoulders but there was a good amount. He starts complaining halfway through the haircut. “Why did you wait so long for a hair cut? This is so much hair. I’m going to have to make you pay extra” he has set prices on his signs. He never mentioned being a trimming hair cut specialist. Also he had no customers at the time. This was in the morning and he was sitting by himself and he’s complaining about “this will take so long to cut that’s why I have to charge you extra” I gave him what I was already going to pay him but honestly I should have just given him no tip. Also he cut the back of my nape slightly and said nothing and it’s turning purple now. The only reason I noticed it was because my friend pointed it out. Do not go here. Thoroughly disappointed.

Caveat emptor. I got a haircut here today and unfortunately, I have to give this place the worst possible review. The owner does not know how to operate a business. My last haircut here was about 2 1/2 months ago for lots of different reasons. He started in saying, “how could I go so long. I should support my barber and pay my barber more often.” Bear in mind he knew nothing of my circumstances. At the end of my haircut, he charged me $32 while he charged another guy 28, saying it was because my hair was longer, and I hadn’t been in in a long time. If he is running a decent business, why should he care how often I show up? And my haircut took no longer than a typical customer. It looks like he took down his price list and charges based on how he feels. Time for me to report him to the Better Business Bureau. The biggest pity of it all is that the barber who cut my hair was lovely and gave me a really good haircut. The behavior of an unprofessional owner lost her a paying customer. He is penny wise and pound foolish.

I stumbled into Barukh's shop because he was open early. It's the best haircut I've gotten in the neighborhood. My wife noticed what a good shape he gave me, and I don't have easy hair to work with. Plus, the price is right. I'll be back.

Mr b cut my hair like 4 times and did a good job. Then randomly got testy with me for touching my hair during the haircut. Then bad mouthed me to the other shop attendant in a language I don't speak so they could get a big laugh out of it. Then tried to not give me the change I asked for, as a way of giving himself his own tip! Won't be coming again, shocking and unnecessarily bad experience.

I’ve been coming to this barber shop for the past 17 years. This guy in the photo right here, the one in the button down, has been my barber for 95% of that time. He’s gotten to know my hair and my style. It’s a quick in and out every time I go! And the conversations are never too much or too little. It’s always a great time, and I leave there looking and feeling much better than when I first get there. Highly recommended!

To start, I am new to the neighborhood and didn’t think too much. This was my mistake. Walked in to get my beard quickly trimmed but got pressured by the owner to have my hair cut too. Told me that he would give me a deal. Turned out, some lady that didn’t know how to properly use the equipment cut my hair. I felt like her training dummy. I really did not like the haircut at all, the lady didn’t understand English and the owner kept insisting that he liked my haircut. I definitely didn’t like it but the owner did. What kind of attitude is this? I could care less if the owner likes my haircut. At the end I wasted more time, got a bad haircut and on top of all this paid $50. I genuinely felt scammed.

I've been here a few times with my four year old son, and we each get haircuts at the same time. It's been fine-- good enough but not great. Today, I asked the man who is always there to give my son a short regular haircut. As I got my hair cut by one of the ladies who is often there too, I at one point asked if he could please make it a little shorter. As he neared being done, I again politely asked if he could make it a little shorter and more gradual in the back-- it looked odd and my son's hair grows quickly. I was not rude about it. He had had another customer just sit down to wait for a haircut, so it may be he wanted to finish quickly to get to that man. Either way, he had not spent much time on my son, I do not think I was being rude at all, and my request seemed reasonable/normal. He was very rude in response. I asked him why he was being rude, and he really lost it, telling us to never return, and that he'd been cutting hair for twenty years and knew how to give a boy's haircut. The other barber finished both our cuts. I could have handled it better too -- I should have just let his initial rudeness go without remark--but it was an absurd experience. As he cut the next man's hair and mine was being finished, he loudly asked the man if the length was ok. The man thought about it for a moment and said yes, and the barber then loudly said this was how the back and forth should be for a haircut. I agree-- but he never once asked me if the length was ok for my son.
