Great price but the dude was mad aggressive with the equipment. Left me with cuts and scars on my face. Not cool

When I got there they had me sit down in a chair waiting for one of their barbers to get back to cut my hair. It took him 15-20 minutes to get there and he claimed to be at a bodega with his coworkers called him out on saying they were at the bodega and didn’t see him, then he claimed he was at a different bodega. When he finally started cutting my hair I told him I wanted the sides and the back to be shorter and just a slight trim in the front, this man gave me a whole fade on the sides and chopped a big whole chunk straight through the front of my hair. I’m not sure if he assumed I wanted a bowl cut bc I’m Mexican but that’s definitely not what I asked for. As soon as I see him cut the front I tell him that’s not what I asked for and show him a picture of the haircut I originally wanted which is basically a Korean-styled two-block haircut and he proceeds to tell me he can still do it and I tell him that he already cut it too short, but he keeps insisting it’s still possible so I let him try to fix it. He then starts to style it into a faux hawk and I tell him again that that’s not what I wanted and show him the picture again, then he tells me I just gotta wait for the hair to grow back. Like obviously I know that which is why I only asked him to slightly trim the front of my hair not to chop a whole chunk off and try to give me a bowl cut. Worst experience I’ve ever had, I believed they called him Willy or something, never go to him if you want a good haircut. The whole time he was cutting my hair he was singing to the songs that were playing, changing the songs and raising the volume too. Worst experience I’ve ever had, I’d give this place 0 stars if I could.

Secretly the best barbershop in nyc. Quick clean service. THEY TAKE APPLE PAY. Life saver. Most barbers push your hairline back to get a quick clean line but they make sure to maintain your hairline XD

Samuel is the BEST—hands down! He’s been my go-to barber for the past couple of years, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else before a shoot. Whenever I’ve got something coming up, he always comes through with a tight, clean fade that keeps me camera-ready. Consistent, professional, and always on point.

Samuel at Brandy Barbershop is one of the best barbers around! He consistently gives me the best haircuts & I've never had a bad experience with him. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Sam, he's made me a customer for life.

I've been coming to this barbershop since Covid. What initially appealed to me was their attention to health and safety. Since day one Samuel has been my go-to-barber. He's very professional, pays very close attention to detail, and is very focused when he gets started. I've had my fair share of barbers who are distracted and take too long to cut hair, but Samuel is always efficient. I've recently moved and if I could bring Sam with me I would. He's a top-class talent and professional

My brother Sam first window to your left he’s been cutting my hair for a decade and as I grew my hair into braids he kept my hairline sharped i recommended him his name is Samuel. And my back up guy is Henky he is good also everyone here is good but those are my guys I consistently been too.

I am so happy that after 8 years looking for a reliable barber in much I found this place. I live in Midtown Manhattan but every week I go all the way to Harlem to get my hair done with Samuel! I work in the media and performing arts so having a cut that I live it’s of max importance to my self steam and over all look. Samuel will try his best to make sure you’re please with your cut! And he’s quick!!! He’s able to give me a flawless cut with 20 minutes! Just excellent! He’s also always on the phone to help you coordinate your arrivals and service so you’re not just there waiting!
