Jacob gives the best haircuts I’ve ever received. At this point I don’t even say what I want because he kills it. Highly recommend.

So i thought I had been getting a decent haircut until I was schooled by Joseph. He took the time to show me where the last Barber had made mistakes and asked me each step exactly how I wanted my hair cut. He isn't just a barber, he is an Artist that cares greatly for his craft. I've been searching for the right barber since mine retired about a year ago and it hasn't been easy but I think I finally found the right person. Also one of the least expensive places around. Oh and if you like whiskey he has that also included with the service. Great place. Awesome vibe. 😁.....9/30/20..just a little update and some new pictures. I've been going to Joseph now for almost a year and have never been disappointed. Each time my haircut looks better than the last. If you need someone who will listen to how you want your hair done and then sculpt your hair exactly how you want it then you need Joseph. Best prices and best barber in NYC!!! Still going in 2024. Best barber in NYC!!!

I have been coming to B&H for a few months now and it has been a great experience every single time. I schedule with Nathan every time I go and he has done a really nice job. Very good attention to detail, easy to communicate with, and I can tell he prioritizes delivering the result that I ask for. I will definitely continue going to Nathan at B&H in the future!

I’ve been going here for the past 3 years since living in the east village and couldn’t be happier with my experience. I usually get cut by Jacob and I highly recommend him. He’s always on point, he’s quick and efficient, and has high attention to detail. I can tell he really cares about making me look my best. I’ve also been cut by Sam and Greg who are both incredible as well. The cuts are always consistent and the vibes in the shop are fun. Highly recommend.

Nathan was recommended to me by a friend a few months ago. I have been going to him ever since. He asks exactly what I want before he starts and checks in throughout. He’s super personable and extremely detail oriented. Overall, great experience

I had Nathan as my barber. Highly recommend him, the attention to detail was very high and didnt cut my hair too short like many other places. He also gave me a first time discount!

I had a great experience! I just did a walk-in and I was attended to promptly. My barber Greg was efficient but also precise, and friendly. Im from out of town but I would definitely return next time I visit!

Found this place while searching for a barber near me and it’s easily one of the best haircuts I’ve had. My barber really understands Asian hair and gave me a sharp taper fade that looks great and grows out evenly. Attention to detail is on point, and you can tell they take pride in their work. Highly recommend if you want a clean, professional cut done right.

After buzzing my hair for 30 years, a year ago I decided to grow it out again. I have very thick and curly hair (Jewish), and the barbers I've gone to in the past year have seemed to not really know what to do with it. I searched online for local barbers who seemed capable, and noticed that B&H is closed on Saturdays and I thought "A-ha! Closed on Shabbat! They will know how to handle my hair!" Based on reviews I booked with Greg, and am very glad that I did! He seemed to genuinely enjoy working with my hair, and continued to ask questions at each step. I have gotten so many compliments on this cut, and it feels like a cut that will grow out nicely and still look great until the next one. Highly recommend!

I love this barbershop! The team of guys here are diverse and friendly - they have the technical skills to cut a wide array of men's hair textures and are welcoming of clientele of any background. The aura here is like the traditional shops of our youth without yesterday's toxic culture hangups. Music is kept at a comfortable level, its very clean and well-lit, and the prices are reasonable. I prefer to call in advance for my appts however in a pinch I've seen many walk-ins accommodated. The reviews here are legit!
