Julia is the best I have a haircut with a bit of a fade and she always gets it perfect!! she even gets my eyebrows looking nice and.trim. Great job every time!!!

Khaim did my haircut. Knew exactly what I was looking for. A medium military style skin fade with a part. Perfect haircut. Great communication and he always checked to make sure I was happy with the height of the fade and length taken off the top.

My husband came in for a quick haircut as we walked the streets of New York. He had THE absolute best haircut by Khaim! What a nice man and a skilled barber. Warm towel was an added bonus (mini spa, as he called it!) Thank you, thank you!!!

Julia was phenomenal. She starts it off by fully understanding what you are looking for. During the haircut, she frequently asks for any preferences or changes you’d like, and makes it very easy to explain what you’d like. She never rushes the process. Julia is also a pleasure to speak to and very easy to get a long with. The hot towel is a great touch. Very happy with my experience.

I got a haircut from Julia a couple weeks ago and meant to write her a review. Needless to say the best haircut I have ever received. I’m the type of person who gives very vague instructions (I don’t know what I want either) and despite that, she gave me exactly what I wanted. Reasonably priced, kind staff, meticulous craftsmanship (of the hair). I’d give the experience 11/10 stars, and I say that from the bottom of my heart. No gripes, no qualms, just a haircut that you’d see in your high school yearbook and say, “wow, I wonder who that guy’s barber is…”

Outstanding haircut. Irina (10-25) was excellent. She cut it exactly how I wanted. I normally get my haircut at home in Jersey but will be coming here when working in the city from now on. Also, the price was extremely fair for the city ($35). Pay the same in Jersey.

Julia took care of me when I stopped in as I was in town for business. I’ve been getting a high fade most of my adult life and can be picky. She did a great job on my fade. Very much attention to detail and even a hot towel. Would definitely recommend Julia and 969 barber shop if you’re ever in midtown!

I was searching for a place to tame my overgrown hair, which had been growing wild since the pandemic, and stumbled upon this barber shop with excellent ratings. I decided to give it a try and called in the afternoon to ask about walk-ins. Eric warmly welcomed me to come in, and I was lucky to have Julia cut my hair. She worked with such care and precision, and the result was fantastic! The professionalism, skill, and friendliness here are top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend this lovely establishment—thank you!
