Best barber in town. Has been cutting my hair for almost 30 years. My kids even have had the pleasure of getting great haircuts here. He never lets me down!!

I’ve been coming to this place for years and am completely comfortable going to any of the barbers they have. Not many places I’ve been to in the past can I say that for! They’re all very friendly and know what they’re doing. I don’t have to wait cause I’ll take anyone available! Top tier barber shop above the rest compared to the many in the area! Highly recommend!!!

I’ve been living here for over 8 years and I can honestly say I finally found the barbershop I’ll never leave. I searched all over town trying different places, but nothing compared to this one. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like family—good people, great atmosphere, and some of the best barbers around. Greg and Roman are outstanding at what they do, but the truth is everyone here is top-notch. The attention to detail, the professionalism, and the pride they take in their work really stand out. It’s rare these days to find a place where you feel both comfortable and confident you’ll get a perfect cut every time, but this barbershop delivers. If you’re looking for more than just a haircut, but a place where you’ll actually enjoy the experience, this is it. Highly recommend to anyone new in town or just tired of bouncing around—once you try this place, you won’t go anywhere else.

I was looking for a barber closer to me and with better availability and came across Royal Star as it's one of the highest rated in Massapequa. They really do a great job, Alex is very precise and always offers to clean up my beard, neck, eyebrows etc. They work very hard here and should be recognized for it.

Stopped in with my son for a haircut on a Sunday afternoon. Was immediately greeted by Greg and Roman. Place is extremely clean and barbers are very professional. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area or looking for a new barber!

This place is outstanding. I had the same barber for 15 years that one day decided to go in a different path. I tried nearly half a dozen barbers over the next year trying to find the right fit. This is the place! Open 7 days a week, all highly skilled (I typically use Greg but all are awesome). Highly recommend, been here for well over a year now and haven’t had a cut I regretted.

I loved the result of my brothers haircut with Five Star Barber Shop!! The owner, Stan, really is THE MAN. He transformed my brother’s hair so fast with a cut that looked clean and sleek. He added a fade and some layers on top which was all done with extreme talent and precision. If you want a barber who CARES ABOUT YOUR HAIR and wants you to look YOUR BEST you need to check this place out. My family is very satisfied with their service.

Took my son to Royal Star Barbershop for a haircut, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Gregory was his barber and he did an incredible job super professional, patient, and clearly very skilled. He made my son feel comfortable and confident, and the end result looked fantastic. The shop has a great atmosphere, and the service was top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!
