For the past 7 years, Franky is the only person I've let touch my hair. He has been my barber through chemo-related hair loss and the return of my hair after that. For that alone, I would recommend him to literally anyone. In 2024 I moved back to the west coast, but I have still returned to see Franky every time I'm back in NYC. The best of the best.

I was looking for a barbershop that was available for my son, and the young man Ricardo attended to him. I made the appointment the day before at 8 am, and he was there on time. It's the first time my son has come to this barbershop, and he liked it. Even though it's a bit far away, we'll keep going there.

Ricardo was my first NY haircut for my son and I - we've been back each time since. They have a fantastic store, and their prices are fair and hard to beat. You won't be disappointed - they're good people :)

I recently went to Sculptures to get a lady haircut. Unusual for a barber shop, I know. Jesus, who is a personal friend gave me a layered bob. I suffer from seasonal alopecia and did not want to hear the lectures or treatment options that conventional salons give me. I needed a haircut and he delivered. Will you get a blowout at this place? The answer is obviously no. What you will receive is the service you requested without judgement. I’ve gotten tons of compliments and because it’s shorter I’ve seen a substantial difference with hair fallout. I probably shouldn’t even be writing a review for this as it’s not a service that is regularly requested but, if you don’t want the regular salon judgement you might want to give Jesus a call.

Franky does an amazing job. I moved here and went to 1-2 barbers before him. They gave ok haircuts but left a lot to be desired. Franky outclassed them all and left me very happy with his service. $50 isn’t cheap but I do think it’s very much worth it. He takes his time and really makes sure all the details and lines are sharp. Good price for a premium cut.

6 months ago I had to return to Astoria, my birthplace, to take care of a family member. During my two months there I needed to find a barber. I am very picky as I see a nice haircut as one of the first things someone notices. After reading tons of reviews I decided to try Franky. This was in April. It was immediately noticeable how meticulous and conscientious he was. He took his time to give me a great haircut, beard trim and shave. He listened attentively and got it right. Since then I have gone to him every four weeks and am always thrilled. Since I live in the Tampa, Florida area I make it a point to get a haircut while I visit family or more often, like today, I schedule my family visits around my haircut :) I don't let anyone else cut my hair. You will not be disappointed. His prices are fair and Franky is a true professional and a gentleman. Highest recommendation.

We first visited this barbershop when my son was 1 while we were in town visiting family from out of state. We decided to stop in for his first haircut, and it was the best decision we made! Jesus was incredible—kind, friendly, and made my son feel completely at ease. Now, every few months when we visit family in NY, we always come back here for my son’s haircuts because he loves Jesus and won’t let anyone else cut his hair. We been going here for a few years now, my son will soon be 5! We’ve tried several barbers back home in MA, but the haircuts weren’t great, and my son just didn’t feel comfortable. The difference here is huge—Jesus knows exactly how to work with kids, and my son actually looks forward to not only visit family but to also getting his hair cut with Jesus. We are so grateful to have found such a great place, and we’ll keep coming back for years to come!
