The good...nice premises and the staff was friendly. The bad...really bad haircut. The ugly...did I mention it was a Really Bad haircut? Did not cut hair evenly, at all.

I had gone a couple of time and it was okay. But this time it was really bad. The barber was drinking and I didn’t realize until more than half way into the cut when they told him to drink his shot. This is not only dangerous considering they use razors but also unprofessional. My cut, bad. Fade, really bad. Hairs behind my ears, not short. Really long hairs you can’t miss. Hair on top uneven. I don’t get a line up but he lined me up without asking and when I asked why, he said he remembered he did that to me instead of asking what I wanted. Now I have to go get another cut to fix up or use a hat till my hair grows back. I get my beard fixed as well. He lined me up but didn’t finish shaving and cleaning me up. Left me full of hairs that I asked he shave. Sides uneven. Not a straight line but a wave. Be careful they are drinking, this can be very dangerous! Wish I could put 0 stars…

Excellent experience as a first time walk in to see if I should make an appointment and was seen right away. I noticed the barber was speaking Portuguese and turns out I'm Brazilian! Beto helped me to make informed decision about my haircut. Explained about the medium vs high fade and what would suit better for my head shape. His technique is different and he definitely takes his time, he's very detail oriented and professional. If you're in a rush make sure to inform him. We made very good conversations and he made me feel comfortable and respected me wearing a mask inside. He also shaped my eyebrow and gave me a design. His English might be limited but his skills are are not !Definitely recommend Beto! He's also a singer so you can catch him in local Brazilian restaurant.

Outstanding find! Had an appointment in Astoria and Googled "Barber Shops Near Me" and found Saint Mikes. Walked in and taken right away. I was lucky because their clientele seems to be quite regular and business non-stop. It is no wonder why. The best haircut in recent years. Ab was attentive, strategic, and patient. It's a bit of a hike from St. John's University, but keenly aware of the quality of haircut I got, "I'll be back!" Thanks Ab!

I've been coming to this barbershop for nearly 3 years and even though my regular barber Fernando, moved on from his position here, Mike and all the other barbers have done a terrific job of keeping the same high standards for my haircut. They're knowledgeable, willing to provide suggestions on what will look good not just now but a few weeks away when the hair grows out and the conversations are always friendly and jovial. The price is very reasonable when you can get the same quality haircut for less than half the cost of those higher-end places. I recommend this barbershop to anyone in the Astoria area!

Mike listened and took his time to execute the haircut properly. Great bunch of guys at the shop who offer great cuts at a very competitive price (25$ for only haircut as of 09/2021). Will definitely be back!

Come get your cuts at SAINT MIKES BARBER SHOP. The owner Mike is an exceptional person. Not to mention his team of barbers. Their fading and styling skills are insane. They take their time and make sure that you come out looking as fresh as possible. Nestor, Fernando and Abdul are always ready to have you come out of there looking as fresh as possible. They also excel with KIDS and also WOMEN.

Best barber shop in Queens! These guys are masters of their craft. Always on point and super sharp with every single cut. Weather it's Nestor or Mike or anyone else behind the tools, they will make you come out a better looking person. Great vibes, always. I highly recommend this dope barber shop.

Always a great experience. I often bring my kids here for their haircuts. It's a breath of fresh air to find a barber shop that is kid friendly. Besides the welcoming atmosphere the haircuts are top notch. Highly recommended.
