Fernandez Barbershop lie to their customers when your go-to barber leaves their barbershop for a different one. They make up messed up stories so that you lose contact your your barber and they can keep his/her business. I used to come here often and my barber left but fortunately I still had his personal contact. If you’re still looking for Junior, he did not “go back to DR”, he’s now at Liga Grande, only a few blocks away 23-54 31st Street. You guys should be ashamed. Whatever personal issues you have with your barbers, keep it to yourself and leave customers out of it, and by that I mean stop telling them lies about where they went.

Unbelievable. Disgusting. They get annoyed to cut hair when you’re paying AND TIPPING. They send you off to another barber even though you’re waiting on a specific barber like most men do. They knew they couldn’t do a specific hair cut but still did it and messed it up. All because they were annoyed to begin with. My son has cuts because they were so careless and rushed . They could’ve said “we can’t cut your hair today”. I’ve never felt so unwelcomed and uncomfortable before. I’ve been here many times nd did not expect this. Oh yea, the reviews on here are fake and made by their employees and friends. The reviews that state they are rude and rush are true. I will report to the better business bureau

Ask for Lappy (first chair) or Manny (last chair) you won’t be disappointed never had a razor burn or cut smooth fresh cut every time.

My boyfriend always gets his haircut by raymond, he is the best! We always made appointments using the shops phone number because we didnt have his cell phone number, we called asking for him and they said he doesnt cut anymore and that was a lie, one day i went to go do my highlights at diosa salon and spa on astoria blvd, half salon and half barbershop, and it just so happens that raymond works there now, i recomend that eveyone goes to him, you can find him at 22-03 astoria blvd

Had my hair cut by 4 different guys here. Every time I get something I love. They are quick, the atmosphere is great. It's relaxed and efficient. I'll keep going back.

Been going here for 2 years now. Just make sure you know who you are planning on seeing and try calling ahead. You could be sitting here for an hour before anyone is able to cut your hair.

There the best barber shop ever there all great barbers I've been getting my haircuts there for 6 years now and I won't go no where else but there nobody is as good as them 👍🏽👍🏽

I live about 6 hours away and visit this shop once every couple of months. I've been here about 3 times. The guys here are really nice, authentically Dominican, haha very Dominican. Good hair cuts, good 12 bucks.
