I’m very happy about finding this place. I usually always involuntarily flinch when I get the back hairline cut because of a bad accident I had when I was a kid but Pep is the first barber I’ve found that hasn’t made me flinch. Not only does he have a precise touch but he pays attention to the details and always provides good conversation as well. Fades and scissor work is always on point too. Would definitely recommend.

Everyone there is super friendly! My appointment started on time, the price for a haircut was very reasonable and most importantly - my hair came out exactly as I wanted! Go check them out!

Went to get a haircut on my 23rd birthday and was helped out by a guy named Pep! I had really long hair and he helped me get a clean and fresh cut, definitely would be revisiting and recommending this place!

I have been to the shop twice in the past 10 months. The service has always been spectacular. Even my girlfriend says it’s the best haircut I’ve ever had. I can’t remember the name of the gentleman that cut my hair, but his attention to detail, tells me that he has been very well trained. It’s obvious that shop is well-maintained and clean. Very professional job all around. I highly recommend it and I will be back.

A great barbershop always clean and welcoming everytime I go. I drive 30min just to get my haircut because they take their time and make sure you look good. Now that I'm in college I take the train there. Highly recommend trying them out.

The new owners gave a much needed update to this previously traditional barber shop. Their new barbers who are there are better burst in the modern styles. They're also one of the more affordable options for younger haircuts in Metuchen.

John and the other barbers there do an amazing job every time. The place is looking cleaner and better every time. Going during Covid I feel totally safe as well. 10/10 would recommend every single time. Definitely worth it and totally an awesome time. Love going there.

Felt nice to get a cut after corona virus restrictions and lock downs have eased. John re organized and re modeled the shop to have an open, clean and feel safe vibe to an already great environment. Also easy to book on the Booksy.com app. I recommend this barber shop experience for sure!

Outstanding service! The owner (Shawn) definitely has a great establishment. From the old school barbershop relics in the front window to the atmosphere inside. Fast and extremely friendly service. Recommendations all around. Keep up the great work guys. It is hard to find talent like Shawn's around.

A great place to get any kind of hair cut or style that you desire. The guys do a great job. The shop is clean and they all conduct themselves professionally. I drive over 30 minutes out of my way to get my haircut by John. He's been cutting my hair for 4+ years and has turned into a friend. Always a great experience at Main Street Barbershop!
