Great experience. Barber was very detailed and really took his time to make sure everything was clean and even. You can tell he cares about his work and doesn’t rush the cut. Definitely plan on coming back. Highly recommend.

I have bounced around to a bunch of shops in Hoboken and JC, and Alex is unequivocally the best cut I have had. He is extraordinary skilled and truly takes his time for a quality cut. His attention to detail has my haircut come out excellent and consistently every time. The little things also help elevate each visit. There is always a can of black cherry Pellegrino waiting for me, the hot towel and neck massage finish, and the easy listening music to calm me down after a long day. I really like the single chair setup and intimate setting much more than a busy/loud shop. Parking is easy and free (big plus in this area), and you'll get used to the Phoenix Salon setup after the first visit. I have been coming here for over a year, and if I wasn't moving away I would never stop. Look no further than Alex for your next barber!

First time having my haircut by Alex, will definitely be returning. Great Experience with Alex, he took his time, checking along the way that it was how I wanted it. Really appreciated the attention to detail and loved the hot towel to finish with.

For the past several years I've been looking for the right stylist in Jersey City, and I'm so happy to say I've finally found the exact one I need. I walked in after not having my haircut in 3 years and Alex handled it great! He asked me questions through the whole process to make sure ingot exactly what i wanted, and I'm very happy with the results. I definitely intend on coming back!

Best haircut I had in US after 2,5 years living here. All you see in the pictures and videos is true. Alex really care about the perfection of his cut and about what you ask to him. Today I visited Alex, my hairstylist, and I really want to recommend his studio. Starting from the very beginning: there’s no problem with parking, everything inside is clean, cozy, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. Alex took all my preferences into account, and the haircut turned out exactly 100% the way I wanted and envisioned. I highly recommend him! Plus, he accepts cards, and there’s an option for online booking.
