This place incredible. I had been at another barber in town, but recently changed my hours at work, which sadly coincides with their days off as well. It lead me on a search for a new barber, which after a few months of “ok” cuts, I landed on this location and I think I’ve found my new home. They were detailed, friendly, and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on my hair this week.

Best barbershop in Hoboken! Mario and his team are awesome. I’ve lived in Hoboken for years and have tried several barbershops, but none compare to the quality and consistency of Village. The attention to detail and friendly atmosphere make every visit a great experience.

Went in for the senior haircut. Had a the machine and scissors with a hot towel. Not sure what the electric gun was all about. Looks pretty good.

Mario is the best! I was experimenting with a new style and he was so receptive and attentative in helping me figure out what I wanted! I am so happy with my haircut and will definitely be coming back! -Ray

Just went in there last week for the first time, amazing establishment. From the second you walk in, it takes you into a different scene. Ask for Mario if you are looking for someone that’s experience , efficient and overall just an excellent person. Hot towel (or cold towel finish) was amazing!

Nice people and good location on Washington, but they were backed up and took a minute to see people with appointments. Barber was going WAY too fast on the cut (to get through the queue) and ended up slashing me in a couple of places with his razor (see pic). Was otherwise a decent fade and an ok cut, but probably won’t be back. The level of care and attention to detail definitely did not match the price.

Jay at V's Barbershop in Hoboken is amazing! I rarely leave reviews but he gives me the best haircut every single time. He listens carefully to what I want and spends his time making sure it is perfect. He is so kind and always accommodates me even if he is booked. I cannot recommend him enough!

I have only ever gone to Jay for a haircut at V's Barbershop. Not only do I go here for a clean haircut, but for the great customer service I receive while I am there. Jay greets me with a warm welcome, and always asks me how I have been since my last visit. When first getting my haircuts with Jay, he helped me find the style of haircut that I liked. Once we found that, he memorized it so that I do not even need to tell him before he starts the haircut. We always have fun conversations to make the experience a great one. Jay has been so wonderful that I moved locations with him when he moved from Jersey City to Hoboken. I would recommend Jay to anyone looking for a great haircut.
