I’ve been going here for about a year and a half now and I can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve gotten a cut and a beard line up from 5+ of the barbers here and left incredibly happy every time! Most recently (1/6) I was taken care of by Lorna & I will definitely be requesting her every time (but you can’t go wrong with anyone here). I live in the city but it’s well worth the 40+ minute drive for me. Never change, Diesel!

I got the worst haircut of my life from Wael. During online booking, I selected Diesel Plus w/ Razor Skin Fade ($69). When I sat down, I clearly showed him what I wanted. What I got was an absolute mess. The haircut lasted about 30 minutes. Nothing felt normal or professional during the process. He started fading the back, then randomly moved to the sides with scissors. The top wasn’t even flat or blended properly. The cut is so bad that no other barber has been able to fix it. The wash took 30 seconds, the hot towel was rushed, and there was no sholder massage at all. Zero attention to detail. At the end, he told me, “Oh, your haircut is just regular Diesel Plus, I won’t charge you $69.” Yet I was still charged $69, and on top of that I left a 20% tip—to make it clear this is not about money. This is about poor service, lack of skill, and ruining someone’s hair right before Christmas. Letting people without proper knowledge or care cut clients’ hair is unacceptable. Shame on you.

Wael was amazing. He listened to what i thought i wanted and worked with me to create what I actually needed. Punctual, free arcade games in waiting room, good music, good people. I was offered refreshments while i waited and i was early. I recommend any man who wants a real cut to come here

Ive been here 30 times and have usually been very satisfied . Im not gonna get super detailed but my number 3 fade has 1.5 inch long patches of hair lol just make sure you find their good barber and dont switch up to the new guy lol

I have gotten my haircut by Moe twice now. He did an incredible job both times. He takes his craft very seriously & is very talented. The staff is very welcoming & professional. Highly recommend making Diesel your barbershop.

Our stylist Jen was very nice and personable, but her skillset is not in line with the price point. My boyfriend also didn’t receive everything listed with the service. It would have been acceptable to fix a couple spots on his hair and re-do his beard if this was a Supercuts or similar.

My son and I just recently started to go here and are very happy we made the change. Wael is an awesome barber… he takes his time with my 5 year old son, and listens to what we want, and makes sure he delivers with a professional cut. The experience at Diesel is great and the staff take their time and don’t rush like some other salons. Strongly recommend Wael and Diesel!

I’ve been bringing my son here for a while now, and every visit has been a great experience. They do more than just give a great haircut—they also shampoo his hair, which is a nice extra touch. He always looks forward to the candy dish and the free arcade games, which make the trip even more fun for him. Another cool perk is the complimentary drink, whether it’s water or juice for the kids or even a beer for adults. The barbers and stylists are all friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience really enjoyable. The haircut costs about $45, which some might think is a lot for a kid, but I grew up with $10 haircuts, and let’s just say they weren’t always picture-day ready—I’ve got the old school photos to prove it. I’d rather my son go to school with a clean, well-done haircut than something uneven and chopped up. Definitely worth the price.

My 8 year old son got his haircut for $60 here and came home with an uneven hairline and 2 chunks of his eyebrow missing. I understand mistakes happen and that not every haircut will be perfect. However, when I called and spoke to the owner he was incredibly rude and said “we don’t do that here” over and over again and that this didn’t happen at his salon. Accusing me of lying and that my son came home from his salon and magically had chunks of his eyebrow missing. On top of that, he hung up on me and didn’t offer to have my son’s haircut fixed. I won’t speak poorly about the stylist as I know she never would intentionally do anything, but the way the owner handled it regarding a CHILD and $60 haircut was unprofessional and they have now lost customers. The owner also lied and said I didn’t call until 24 hours after the appointment, which isn’t true. The appointments were later in the afternoon Saturday and I called when they opened Sunday morning (I have proof of that too). He NEVER offered to fix the situation before telling me I was wrong and hanging up on me. If he did, I would have been very receptive and understanding. Any business owner that handles a situation involving a child like that and speaks to women the way he did won’t be a business I support. I do not recommend this salon at all.

Your son and husband had an appointment yesterday and you called us 24 hours later to let us know you were not pleased with the haircut. We would have been happy to make things right but you threatened us with a bad review before we had the opportunity to resolve this.

As a mom of four, I procrastinate a lot. So we always end up scheduling appointments at the last minute, everyone is booked, and we're forced to go to a place where it's walk in only, you give them $20 and pray you walk out with something close to what you asked for. Of course we are usually bummed out with what we get. I can't tell you how excited we were that we could get an appointment at Diesel last minute. I really didn't expect it considering how honestly awesome this establishment is on the inside. Our 10 year old was so excited when we walked in. We got free drinks and our toddler got a sucker! Our toddler is due to get his first haircut in a few days and they were more than happy to let us stand right up next to them so our baby could watch his brother get a haircut. This haircut was a pretry big deal for our 10 year old because he had spent two years growing his hair super long, down his back. We got to leave with a gorgeous braided ponytail full of his hair and we got to watch our kid bursting with confidence for the first time in a long time. Cleveland was patient and took his time, you can tell he really loves what he does and is incredibly talented. He showed us how to style his hair with the product we purchased as well. I really can't wait to come back, I think we'll ask for Cleveland anytime someone in our family needs their haircut from now on!
