Joe doesn’t judge but he listens. In all the turmoil that is being unleashed in the Twin Cities area right now…that feels real. Plus, he always gives me a haircut that my wife appreciates.

Andrew is the man. He is a magician with the scissors. He also can do a variety of fades and blends as well. Does all types of hair. Recommend this place for sure especially for college students because of the price which is set for 26$.

State Law (Hygiene): Minnesota Rules Part 2105.0380 specifically states, "No animals, birds, or pets shall be allowed in a salon. This prohibition does not apply to guide dogs".

This isn’t a salon, Karen. It’s a barbershop. You don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m a licensed instructor and know board members personally. Barbers are not governed by 2105, that is cosmetology. Barber rules are 2100, and they don’t mention pets anywhere. I know because I teach this. So if you don’t mind let’s skip the regulations class. Especially from some lowlife dork who makes it their business to give bad reviews to local businesses based on chat GPT generated regulatory references. I’ve checked out your profile. I know you do this for sport. For real, who reviews a Walmart? lol go touch grass

I discovered Jello’s after bouncing around different barbers for five years since moving back to Minnesota. I finally found my go-to: Andrew Maki. He’s the best—skilled, consistent, and always ready with great stories from his time in the Marines. If you’re looking for a barber who truly takes pride in his craft, Maki at Jello’s is the one.

Every time I need to get my hair within Army standards, Jello’s Barbershop is where I go—and Maki is who I trust. I’ve been going to Maki for the past year, and every visit is more than just a haircut. Maki is a United States Marine Corps Veteran, and as a fellow service member, I’ve always felt an immediate connection. A large part of their clientele are military, and they just get it—whether it’s the standards, the lifestyle, or the stories we all carry with us. Maki and Joe are not just outstanding barbers—they’re incredible people. I’ve lost count of the meaningful conversations we’ve had, from life stories and hobbies to swapping war stories and sharing advice. Kentucky Joe is hands down the best barber I could ask for. I've been in between barbers my whole life until a few years ago, where Joe changed my barber experience for the better. He's someone who I can vouch for being an incredibly thorough, compassionate, friendly, detail oriented, and principled barber. It's no surprise that his clientele has been growing exponentially, and I can certainly hope it continues. He's the only man who can gas me up on my appearance just by looking in the mirror. You come to Squire, you better break up with whoever your barber was before.
