I got a super nice fresh cut from this place! Can't beat the deal too . I had to stop by to check it out cuz another shop ruined my hair bad and Bryan the barber in the corner he fixed me up so good and he had the best conversations and made me feel welcomed very quick the wait after parking my car and sitting down he checked me into the chair within mins the place was busy and all the guys there were friendly . For how well he took his time and for how friendly he actually was that is why I will be back

Schmidty’s is an old school men’s barbershop located in a vintage building in the historic Randolph Ave neighborhood. This place is a direct throwback to the Men’s barbershop of my youth of 60 years ago. The fixtures, the sports decor, the genial banter make it feel like you’ve arrived in a Time Machine. The topics of discussion are guy stuff - Sports, Cars,Hunting and Fishing and anything in between. Troy cuts my hair exactly the way I like- precision sharp and long lasting. Great atmosphere, great cuts, at a reasonable price. Walk ins only!

I've been going to Schmidty's since I moved here over a year ago and stick with Mario does great work. No complaints and highly recommend if you're looking for the old school barbershop of the days of old.

Great old school atmosphere and service. Best price for a great haircut in town. Barbers are easy to talk to and great at their jobs. Easy 5 stars and is now hyperbole - rare to find a quality haircut under 25 dollars these days.

Been a customer of Schmidty’s since they took over for Jim’s 30+ years ago. Always leave looking better than when I came in. Barbers are all top notch. Always have a good time conversing with the guys. Even like the sports decor. Prices reasonable. Id recommend taking your kids here.

Got a few funny looks from some of the older barbers, coming in as an obvious member of the queer community (maybe shouldn’t have worn my queer liberation 4 all shirt) so the vibe in there for me was odd, but to be fair I bet the clientele are primarily cis men. That being said, the youngest guy in there (I wish I would have gotten his name) gave me a quick shave to clean up the damage great clips did, was extremely polite, and charged me $8 for what any other place would have charged me $40. And a full haircut is only $22?? It’ll take more than a weird vibe to keep me away

Whenever I need a refresh - I go to here! Without a doubt - always consistent - good talk and great prices. Brings me back to when my old man brought me to a barber. Things change - but a good barber does not.

Great shop. Busy on Saturday’s. Straight Walk-ins. $18 cuts and $6 beard trims. Plenty of street parking. Always has a game going on the TV 👌🏼
