First time going to an actual barber and will def be coming back. Was welcomed as soon as I walked in and got cleaned up proper. Great skill and attention to detail. Very welcoming and friendly staff as well. Well worth the hour drive for me personally.

Cool place and vibe, the staff were all really nice and Greg (Goyo) did an excellent job on my hair. He has great attention to detail and executed my requested style well.

I came here knowing that I had an important presentation at a conference the following week. Eli gave me a cut that made me confident for what I had to do - I even received compliments on my hair after the presentation.

Great little shop. Clean and professional with that classic barber experience. Eli is a fantastic barber if you’re looking for a first time recommendation.

Recent visit to St Coast Barber in St Paul—this barber is clearly skilled and takes pride in his craft. The cut was sharp, well blended, and exactly what I asked for. The shop is clean and the team is friendly, making the overall experience enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning and would happily recommend him to anyone seeking a quality, dependable cut.

I'm just disappointed...I wouldn't just walk into this place and expect the cut you want. Took my son here last minute and there was an opening but the guys must have been very new and my son had a pic of a low fade that was tapered with longer hair on top and this guy cut his hair so short my son is mad. Then wanted to end his haircut with pretty much a bowl shape so I had to ask to get the top shorter for it to even look better...the other guy working had to show him, so he kept taking it shorter and shorter and I had to stop him because it's way shorter than what my son wanted. Like if you can't do the cut then dont practice on people's heads. Then to top it off he tells me in front of my son "his hair is weird so..." Like seriously not what you say in front of a middle schooler who just wanted half the haircut you gave him and to blame it on his hair I just can't believe some people.

I've been getting my hair cut by Curtis at Saints Coast for at least 6 years and I'll never need to go anywhere else. Curtis is consistent, clean, and a consummate craftsman. I never have to ask for anything because I can trust Curtis will do what he does best. I know you can't go wrong with anyone else at the shop. Dudes have the place feeling welcoming and comfortable. Go to Saints Coast, you won't regret it.

I always come to this shop for a haircut. I go to Eli, and he always does great! I would highly recommend this spot if you live in the cities or are coming in from out of town. I typically get a tapered fade to the skin, but sometimes change up the length. Either way if you tell them what you want, they will make it work best for you. They’re good dudes and know their stuff!

I initially came to Saints Coast when looking for a barber for my younger son. I have since gone back for cuts for my teenage stepson and myself. I love the retro feel and style of the shop. The boys are not little but my son has some difficulty sitting still for hair appointments and gets bored easily. He also seldom has a clear picture of what he wants for a haircut in his mind. Donnie works great with him to figure out what he wants each time and is calm and patient when redirecting him during the haircut. Donnie always shows interest in things my kid wants to talk about and checks in with both of us before finishing up to make sure we are both happy with the cut. When I took my older stepson there for a cut, he had a definite idea of what he wanted for his haircut and Kyle did a great job accommodating him while fitting it to his hair type. Their chairs are always full, which to me is a good sign. When I needed my undercut trimmed up, I stopped in on a Friday to see if Donnie would do it and he immediately worked me into his schedule the next open slot. I'm a loyal Saints Coast customer now and the fact that they only take cash is a minor inconvenience compared to the major talent of these barbers! I always bring enough to give them a hefty tip because they are so awesome! They're one of West 7th's best kept secrets...but if I say too much more about them they won't be!

Listen to me. Fellas, if your hair HAS to look perfect, if your haircut needs to last a few days longer than normal, pay this shop a visit. All four barbers here are world class artisans. Further you'll never know who owns the place because they all treat their customers like an owner would. My barber Eli hasn't been a barber for long, but he's invested himself in the art and the industry and his work is just flawless. Before I even sat down for my first ever appointment, I noticed all his instruments and gear were laid out with military precision and care. You can tell he's prepared to pay attention to the finest details. I have been to dozens of barbers after coming home from active duty military service and Eli is leagues and leagues ahead of ALL of them. In such cases he's unavailable, Jon, Curtis, or Donny will create hair and beards that belong in a glossy magazine too. You cannot go wrong when you visit this shop. They're intimately familiar with the small assortment of styling products on board and are happy to coach and demonstrate their best use as well. I could go on and on but this distills down to " go to Saints Coast and you'll be happy.'
