Been getting my hair cut here for a few years and I’ve had 5 star results every time. This dude knows what’s best for you even if you don’t. He’ll steer you in the right direction if you’re unsure about what you want and the cut is always super clean.

Love this place ambience is always on point. Always punctual it’s always a pleasure able experience. I have had many barbers in past but Shaun really takes his time gives you what you want and make suggestions. Beard n cut never looked better.

I tried this place a second time just to give it another chance. BIG MISTAKE. The first time I came, I had to have him try to fix the haircut. This time, I had to do the same thing and he made it even worse. He finished the initial cut in exactly 16 minutes. How can you taper and line someone who has several inches of hair in 16 minutes. He tapered less than an inch of hair and left the corner of hair that connects to the taper untouched so it was sticking out like sides of a kite. To top it off, he didn't even take the little brush and remove the hair that he tapered. Yes my son got out of his chair with hair all over his ears face and neck. Just disgusting. When I had him to try to make the cut better, it got worse. So why keep trying. Clearly the skill set is not there. I WILL NEVA EVA go to this place again. I won't go for free! He should not be cutting hair AT ALL!!!!!! I should have let the first time be the lesson but noooooooo I thought to give him another try. So he got my money and 16 minutes of my life, but don't let this happen to you. It seems that he tends to respond to the negative experiences shared with placing blame towards the client, like something they should have done, so it'll be interesting to see his response to my experience. Btw, did I mention, we showed him a pic of the desired look. A simple taper and lining. What we actually got, looked like it was literally done with kindergarten scissors. I am 1000 % confident that I could have done this better because the result wasn't even minimal for a barber. This was just an awful experience. Tapering and lining is standard so that says a lot! If you know, you know.

Fannie this is savaya I did for your son what he want and you was sitting on car outside waiting when I’m finished his haircut and he leave the salon you back inside to complaint about haircut and he show you the picture same what he want and you talking to him he doesn’t want change his style tapper fade to low fade and me I was so so so cool I tell you what you want I will do for him and he lift the barbershop and after that you didn’t lift sitting in the parking lot you complain about the service and your son back inside again and I stop my service with other customers to change to your son haircut from tapper fade to low fade haircut to not make you waiting at car long time I was so cool next time if you don’t trust your son decision, you need to go with him inside the salon to talk to stylist make him know what you want to do <br>And I did for him excellent job for both haircuts, low fade and taper fade

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Savaya Salon for a full hair transformation, including the Cezanne Keratin Treatment, a new cut, and some much-needed color. I have to say, my experience exceeded all expectations, and I left feeling like a brand-new person. The salon itself is absolutely stunning. The atmosphere is chic, yet welcoming, with modern decor and comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and professional, making sure I felt pampered from start to finish. Shawn was knowledgeable about the latest trends and treatments, and I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. I also loved the extra touches — from the calming music to the coffee— that made the experience feel special. Overall, I’m thrilled with my experience at Savaya Salon. The Cezanne Keratin Treatment, cut, and color all exceeded my expectations, and I’ve already booked my next appointment. Today, I had my 6yo son go for a haircut - on the website the kids cut says 35.00. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and my son was also very enthusiastic to receive his haircut. Before the barber (owner) started, I showed a picture of exactly how my son wanted the BASIC afro taper. The barber agreed and said oh that is simple - but then asked if we wanted a skin fade.... I then showed the same picture which was not a skin fade it was a basic afro taper haircut. Ultimately, my son has a bowl of a haircut on his head with no real taper on the sides or back. If I would have known that my son's hair would have turned out this way, then I would have cut it myself. TAPERING is an art that requires multiple hair guards to achieve an even blending from dark to light vice versa. As I went to pay I was told that I originally booked a kids haircut for 35.00, which was true, but the skin fade was an additional 5.00. So my total was over 40.00 because I also used a credit card to pay. I read the most recent review regarding haircuts and I decided to go anyway because the shop has an overall 4.9 rating - I have to agree with the most recent reviewer that this shop is not for cutting hair/barbering. Luckily my son's hair will grow back but unfortunately, I will never return to this business. attaching photos because there is no reason to lie.... an experienced barber knows this is not even a skin fade or taper.... it's butchering of hair.

Tl;dr: I got a service but didn’t fully understand what it was supposed to do, mistakenly lowered my review, and got a personal call from Shawn for a free touch up! Above and beyond! Had Shawn do the Cezanne Keratin treatment for my sister as well! Added before/after I got the Brazilian Blowout from Shawn. I’m speechless! He showed me the products he used and walked me through everything he was doing. Ge is very pleasant company and his work is incredible. I have half wavy, half straight frizzy, frail, thin hair naturally. Now it’s silky, glossy, doesn’t tangle easily, thicker, and pin straight. It doesn’t even feel like my hair. Update - a month later, my hair was wavy again but not frizzy (pics included). I lowered my review not understanding that this is how the treatment worked! Shawn called me right away and was extremely kind, explained that the waves return but the frizz doesn’t. He touched me up within two days for no charge!

Wish I’d tried this location a long time ago. I got turned off because the name sounded feminine and didn’t think it specializes in men’s cuts but was I wrong. So wrong As far as personalized customer service and attention to detail, you can expect 10+, in terms of know how and expertise 10+, in terms of latest equipment, high end products and craftsmanship 10+. If you walk in and your hairdresser has a tool pouch with scissors, combs and gadgets, products to ease the process, you know he is fully invested and passionate about his work. What can I say? If I move houses I’ll be driving back here for my haircut every time. Decoré is clean, the lighting is very good, the outside doesn’t do justice as to how the inside looks. You should book online and payment methods you have all the latest Apple Pay methods. Price wise it’s comparable to others but you get superior service and superior cut. Thank you
