Very clean and friendly environment! My haircut from stylist name Soon was amazing! I always get bob haircut which is hard to get right or the way I want it. But Soon did a great job in perfecting it! She pays close attention to detail and takes her time listening to what I want.

I usually love Floyd’s and they have always taken excellent care of me. However, I was 7 minutes late for my last appointment and the guy at the counter was not lenient or respectful in any way. He told me my appointment was cancelled and that was final. He did not offer to help me reschedule for a later time/date. This caught me really off guard because I usually wait anywhere from 10-15 minutes even when I arrive on time for my appointment. I don’t understand how the appointment can only be pushed back when it’s an error on Floyd’s part, but the same leniency doesn’t apply when it concerns loyal customers.

My kids have been wanting “cooler haircuts” than what our usual go-to places offer, so I made them appointments at Floyd’s. We had a great experience with Angela and Dan, who were both wonderful with kids, and the kids look great. We are looking forward to coming back before school starts to freshen up their looks!

Fantastic atmosphere, lovely people and customer service. Longtime customer here, and I shall continue to give them business! I’ve gotten my hair done by quite a few stylists over the years but for the past year or so, it’s been by Amanda D. She’s amazing! Y’all should definitely keep her around!!

I had almost given up on finding a stylist for my hair, it is fine texture and I get it highlighted. I am so thankful I found Dan!! He is a great listener, and took the time to cut my hair perfectly. I was nervous as I have had many bad experiences with my full highlight, he took the time to do my baby lights better than I have ever had them. The placement and bright white tone is incredible. I am so relived to have found such a talented stylist, and the prices are extremely reasonable on top of it! If your looking for the best highlight and cut in town, book with Dan. You won't regret it, I can guarantee it! Edit :: He did a smudge root on my roots. First time having it done. Loved the result. He is versed in color and highlighting. 16 years experience. 💃

Floyd’s is the best in town! I’ve been coming here consistently for over a year now. All of their stylists are very professional and do fantastic haircuts. Sandra is my absolute favorite! She knows exactly how I like my hair and she always does an outstanding job. She is the only person I like having cut my hair. I will continue to come here for as long as their in business!

MACKENZIE! Guy’s ask for Mackenzie or regret you didn’t! I’m from out of town and I came for an important family visit. She was wonderful. I have difficult hair and, sight unseen, Mackenzie did a masterful job. She was engaging but didn’t over-do it. I can’t believe how easy it was to style my hair the following day, and that’s almost never the case. Best hair cut I’ve had in a very long time! It’s hard to find a stylist that takes men’s hair as seriously as she obviously does. I couldn’t wait to give her credit for being a rare gem. James Charleston, SC

I needed a place for cut, color and style. I was a bit hesitant because it's a "barbershop", but boy was I impressed. Gina was extremely professional, she told me what her expertise was and what they could offer if I needed something beyond her expertise. She did a consultation and offered suggestions. She explained the process and what to expect. It was a pleasant experience and the results were phenomenal. The shop has a really funky vibe and I enjoyed their choice of music. Don't be intimidated by this being a barbershop, they work on women also and you will love the results. Will certainly return.
