IF YOU NEED A HAIRCUT FOR A SPECIAL EVENT, THIS IS NOT THE SHOP TO GO TO! I chose Heritage Barber because my usual barber was unavailable on January 9, 2026. I scheduled a beard appointment for 3:30 p.m., which was supposed to last 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the events that followed were extremely disappointing and unacceptable. At 12:28 p.m. only three hours before my appointment I received a text from Herson informing me that he was sick and could not make the appointment. He offered to reschedule or have another barber, Victor, take me instead. Wanting to keep my appointment, I agreed to be seen by Victor. I arrived at the shop at 3:27 p.m. Victor asked who I was there for, and when I told him I was there for him, he stated it would be “a few minutes.” However, I continued waiting without any updates. By 3:53 p.m., I was still waiting and texted Herson to inform him of the delay and ask if this was normal. I was finally seated at 3:55 p.m. The service, which was scheduled for 30 minutes, did not conclude until 4:53 p.m. The shop failed to honor both the appointment time and the service duration. This lack of professionalism had serious consequences. That same day was my daughter’s graduation at 5:00 p.m. I specifically booked a 3:30 p.m. appointment so I could finish in time to arrive by 4:50 p.m. Because of the excessive delay, I missed my daughter’s graduation entirely. Her mother had to send me a video of the ceremony, and I was only able to arrive in time for pictures after it had ended. I later texted Herson to explain what happened and express how deeply upsetting it was to miss such an important milestone in my daughter’s life. He never responded and never offered an apology. While Victor did offer a 50% discount on the service, no discount can make up for missing my daughter’s graduation. My daughter was heartbroken and upset, and so was I. Due to the lack of accountability, poor time management, and unprofessional handling of this situation, I will not be returning to Heritage Barber. Nothing they do or offer will ever bring back that moment of my daughter’s graduation.

Great barbershop with great barbers! Environment is very positive! I get serviced by Herson and he’s always on point! Pays attention to every detail! Great environment for kids as well! Only shop to go to!

This barbershop is amazing. Ive got a cut from a few of the barbers and all of them did a great job. All of the barbers there are very skilled and pay close attention to detail. I always get compliments on my haircuts from there. They are also great with kids haircuts. I really like how easy it is to book your appointment through there app making it convenient to stop by at a time that works best for me instead of waiting forever in line. Highly recommend this place!

Great barbershop, my son has been going to them since he was a kid, love how patient they always were with him and left him handsome and happy after every cut! We love Herson such a friendly person who thrives to give his customers the best experience! the whole shop is a great vibe and environment! Now my son is a grown adult and goes himself still!

I went in last week, had an appointment for my nephew with Herson. Saying he did an amazing job is an understatement. He truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome it was our first time here. He took the time to listen to the needs of my nephew and executed. He made sure he was comfortable and created that bond to where it felt like we knew him out whole lives. Needless to say we’ll def be booking again.

I've been going to Oscar for years and he consistently delivers the best haircuts in town! He always takes the time to listen to exactly what I want and pays meticulous attention to detail, making sure every cut is perfect. Not only is he skilled, but he also creates a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making the whole experience enjoyable.

I had the pleasure of going into the shop today for my boyfriend to get his haircut by Dorian. From the beginning, he listened to what my boyfriend was looking for and communicated professionally to assure they were on the same page. He cut his hair with precision while making sure to have it all done in a timely fashion. You can truly see Dorian’s love for his craft and enjoys what he does.

Best barbershop in the DMV. Good vibes always. This place really feels like a big family of barbers and if you’re willing to have a good time, you’ll fit right in. My barber is Dorian. Definition of a professional and great barber. Always listens and asks the right questions so he’ll always have you walking out the door happy with a fresh cut. Easily one of the friendliest guys in there, he’ll talk to anyone and everyone and treat you like he’s known you forever. All the barbers in this shop are top tier. I would gladly sit in anyone’s chair. To all the bums that give this place anything less than a 5-star, go back to supercuts. Come in here with the mindset of getting a clean haircut and a good time. If you can’t laugh and joke around with the guys at the barbershop… find a salon. All in all this place is the perfect mix of professionalism and good vibes. They will not disappoint.

I recently went to Heritage barber and got a hair cut by Dorian. He’s such a professional barber who knows exactly what he’s doing. I went over the comments and saw that there’s lots of love for this shop. I noticed Valery didn’t have a great experience with Dorian but I don’t know what is wrong with him. Dorian is an amazing barber and this guy has no clue what he’s talking about. Maybe some of us should stay at Sports Clips. Don’t listen to him, you’re that guy!

I absolutely love the atmosphere. As soon you as you walk in, it’s vibrant, laid back and overall a fun environment to be in. The barbers all joking with one another but still paying critical attention to their clients. They have the perfect balance of professionalism and humor. My favorite barber is Dorian and anyone who books an appointment with him, I guarantee will not be disappointed.
