I was going to Stella’s for a couple of years, but after a while I started noticing bumps on my head. At first I thought it was an anomaly, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized…I’ve never seen Stella clean or disinfect any cutting tools that she used on me. So I stopped going there and the bumps went away. Stella is a nice person, and has relatively good prices compared to other barbershops in Ellicott City. But proper hygiene practices are lacking.

Stella’s Barber Shop is my barber shop for life. Stella consistently gives me great haircuts, the space is always very clean, and she is always super respectful/kind. If you haven’t tried going to Stella yet, this is your sign to give her a shot! You will not regret it! I don’t see how anyone could give Stella less than 5 stars.

I have lived overseas for 12 years, and it is the best Barber I have ever cut. Low cost, speedy and good work. Need to make appointment by calling.

I’ve been coming here for years now. Stella’s is the best around. Reasonably priced, great haircut, and fantastic customer service in a clean and quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended. Call ahead as haircuts are currently by appointment only.

This is the perfect spot for a haircut...😎😎😎 Stella is always open early and she cuts hair perfectly😀 7am to 7pm.... come early she's verry popular ‼️ and very reasonably priced it's a great spot for Dads and Sons ‼️😀😀

Came here 3 years ago for the first time after attempting to cut my own hair and butchering it. Stella saves the day and I haven’t been to another barber since. Best haircuts I’ve ever gotten, great prices.

Probably the safest place to get a haircut right now. Stella is the only one cutting hair here, and with it being by appointment only, I was the only customer in the barber shop. She is a super nice lady and does a great job too, excellent attention to detail. This was my first time here, I'll definitely be back again.

Great service. I have come here 8 times so far, and Stella always does a great job. Never a disappointment. The hours 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM are awesome. She only accepts cash or check as payment.

I have been going to Stella for several years now. She is the best! I mean look at these reviews- almost perfect. High level of service all the time. Great prices and friendly service. She does a great job cutting hair for any age group. My 18 year old thinks she does a great job as well. We love being able to get services from people in the community rather than a large corporate haircutter

What a great neighborhood gem! Not only does Stella give a great haircut, but she is great with kids. She turned cartoons on for my son and let him run around the shop after his haircut. I'm a new regular! Cash or check only, but the prices make it worth the trip to the ATM.
