I asked for a blowout or mid taper, but the barber just pointed at my head and said “mid skin.” I made it clear what I wanted, but I trusted he heard me. I came in with enough hair for a middle part, and somehow walked out with what’s basically a buzz cut. Gomes kept insisting I asked for a mid skin, which I didn’t. They tried to “fix it,” but it only got worse. I’ve never walked out of a barbershop feeling worse about my haircut this was a complete miss. How did I walk out the shop worse than I came in.

I have been going here for 1 year now. I get my haircut maybe every 3 weeks and overall I have been getting decent haircuts but there is a slight language barrier. Every time I come in to get my haircut, I always ask the same thing to the same barber, but I always come out with a different fade and different look than what I asked. Dont get me wrong the haircuts are good but the consistency isn’t there and the slight language barrier doesn’t help

Excellent haircut for an excellent price. It was my first time there and I have to say, it definitely wont be my last. Didn’t get my barber’s name, but he did a great job. I just showed him a picture, and 30 minutes later, I had a fresh haircut. Can’t recommend these gentleman enough.

I'm staying in the area for a work commitment (live an hr away) and I desperately needed a cut. I Found W&R Barber Shop had good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. It's super easy to book an appointment. I showed up 15 minutes early and was greeted by a very nice young lady who checks you in. I liked that aspect. Gomes worked with me. He did a great job, and I'm very happy with my cut. I want to highlight Washington, though, the owner. I had a communication barrier with Gomes but Washington stopped cutting his customers hair twice to come over and explain to Gomes what I wanted and then he gave me what I wanted, a #1 with a high fade.(Washington shared what it was called for future cuts) Im sold. I'll be back. You've gained me as a customer. No issue being a female at the barber shop. I like my hair short short. Parking is tight, but I managed. Overall, it was a great experience. See you soon!

This place is great my man went there came home on nice and smelling great. I went back without him knowing, and bought the after shave. I felt like I was taking up time So I picked one. Dam it was the wrong one. Everyone was so nice In There. Thank you to the owner for being so patient while I smelt the after shaves. If you haven't been here before stop by You can't go wrong everyone so nice and your man comes home looking good and smelling sweet. I'll be back for the purple one I believe it was. Thank you again..

Super accommodating and fun for young customers!! My boys are 3 and 5 and 19- and the little ones loved the kids set up. The station itself was designed for kids in mind and I have to say the owner (Hi Washington!!!!) did a great job with all the details! To start…the seat is not a typical barbershop seat with a booster… it’s like a high chair with a steering wheel posted in front so the kid doesn’t slide out (cool and safe!) My 5 yo is almost 6 and is tall for his age.. he fit in here no problem! Next… they have a tablet on a stand for kids to reach themselves and can watch whatever they want. Apps were already available and fully accessible. Then the station… it had marvel wall stickers and art… the cape was also kid friendly!!! Now the haircut… I am sure they are all amazing but our first experience began with RAPHAEL and he was amazing at day one that I didn’t venture to the others. Yet, I have seen the work of the others and they are all good, too though i can’t speak from personal experience. RAPHAEL was sweet to the boys, patient if/ when they wanted to change what they were watching, or wanted to move just because. RAPHAEL effectively executed the design and cut for all my kids haircut - see pictures - and was consistently good each appointment. My boys and I are now regulars!!! Ps my oldest 19 year old requested a letter design at the back… @washington stepped in himself to do it and it was FIREEEEEE!!! Sadly no picture of this cursive N, as my teen flew out of state with his girlfriend right after so i missed a picture opportunity.

Absolutely fantastic haircut and wonderful atmosphere. I moved to Quincy a little over 4 years ago and have been going shop to shop trying to find a place that gave me a cut I was happy with and I finally found it at W&R Barber Shop! Appreciated the attention to detail and great cleanup to my beard along with the amazing cut. Will be coming back and finally found my shop. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly polite and pleasant too which made the experience that much better.

Amazing place. The energy and the atmosphere inside are great. Guys flying around their chairs and looking like everyone one knows their craft. Very impressive barber shop. I got my cut, and finally, my kids stopped making fun of me.

Amazing job! I take my 6 boys here and they do a excellent fade! Washington is very good with my younger boys 4,3&2. We go here practically every other month when my boys need a cut! They love him and do very good for him. He always has them looking sharp and fresh! I wouldn’t want anyone else touching my boys hair! Today I myself saw Salvador and he gave me beautiful highlights a trim and style! I love the atmosphere here! They are all friendly and funny! Special thanks to this family of barbers for keeping us looking fresh and clean!
