I've had two cuts from Cameron now, and I can't recommend him enough. He is an absolute professional and so good at what he does. I've gotten so many compliments on both of the cuts! Beyond his skill, he also made me feel completely comfortable. I feel so lucky to have found him and will definitely be keeping him as my permanent barber.

If you're looking for a premium cut at a moderate price, this is definitely the place. Recently moved back to the area and was looking for a good barber that wasn't crazy expensive ($80-100+), that was also not the bad to mediocre quality haircut you tend to usually get at the cheap salons like super cuts or great clips. The atmosphere at Beantown Barber is relaxing and chill, and Cameron was easy to have a nice chat with. I usually like to wait a while between cuts and he didn't seem bothered at all, which was a nice plus over the cheaper places that tend to get annoyed. Knew his stuff too when recommending a product for my hair type to give it a little lift without looking greasy or overly shiny. It's down a floor in the big salon building and you have to get buzzed in so it was a little tricky to find the first visit, but not too bad. There's even free parking in the nearby Stop & Shop a short walk away when the street or small lot is full. I'd definitely recommend Beantown Barber & Cameron to anyone in the Newton area.

Cameron is an amazing barber and a great person. Very welcoming shop and it never hurts to have The Sandlot on. Highly recommend Beantown Barber Studio and you will absolutely love the cut. Thank you Cameron

Cameron is friendly, professionally, and absolutely skillful and talented! I came here after deciding to switch from a five-star-review barbershop because I didn’t like the vibe there, even though the haircut was decent (barbers talking to each other non-stop, leaving people hanging for minutes here and there, and talking about politics. The studio is clean and cozy. And I got a haircut style I haven’t had for years by just giving Cameron work his magic. If you’re looking for a new barber, give this place a try!

Cameron is hands-down a true professional and a master of his craft. What I enjoyed most was his attention to detail, attentiveness, and the time he took to ensure everything was perfect. The experience was absolutely phenomenal. Cameron was excellent! I’m a college student still looking for a permanent barber here in Boston, and I think I’ve found my guy. The shop is great, Cameron is a fun conversationalist, and gives a top-notch haircut. He is very skilled with the scissors, and paid good attention to detail. Would highly recommend!
