Melrose Barber is hands down the best barbershop around. I’m done gate-keeping Abdul because he delivers the cleanest, most precision fades in all of Boston. People constantly ask where I get my cut. I’ve got a tough head to cut and no one ever gets it right except him. Professional, consistent, high-quality results every time, and the experience is super convenient. Just call, book, and show up, no annoying apps, deposits, or hoops. Top tier service, elite craftsmanship, and a must-visit spot if you want a flawless fade. A bonus is I keep running into New England Patriots alumni there too!

My family and I love the service provided here. We have been loyal customers for over 5 years now with no complaints. Price change is understandable in the current economy. May God bless this shop and its barbers. Thank you, Abdul, for the always quick & perfect haircut 🫡

I come from New Hampshire to Melrose to do haircuts for me and my son, Abdou is very nice, respectful and pretty organized in his appointments, he does a very good job for me he is the best. I would really recommend him.

I recently visited Melrose barbershop and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and professional, They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered a perfect cut. The attention to detail was impressive, and The prices were reasonable for the quality of service provided, therefore I highly recommend this barbershop for anyone looking for a great haircut in a relaxed setting.

I've lived in the Greater Boston Area for the last 10 years and have had Abdul and Sammy cutting my hair for the last 4. I moved 30 minutes away from Melrose a couple years ago and still travel over to see them. They are great guys, they give great haircuts (very meticulous and take their time), they love soccer and just chatting about life. Couldn't ask for better quality barbers - they're the real deal. Thank you for the amazing haircuts!

Going there for about a 9 to 10 years.!. And Abdul used to cut my hair & I gave him huge tips all the time. Now don’t get me wrong he’s good at cutting hair and listens well. But not like the other Barber Sammy he doesn’t listen to anyone and no one really likes to go to him! Because of his bad attitude eyebrows always down and just horrible at cutting hair. and doesn’t listen at customers request. But as for Abdul, the reason why I stopped going, to him was because I had an appointment set up and I moved a distance away so he is well aware that I would be driving from much further away! I get there and he tells me he wants to cut same guy jimmys hair first..!? I said I already had my appointment and he said yeah idk you can wait really rudely. Needless to say that I could not wait because I was in a rush had an appointment after my haircut so I couldn’t wait for Jimmy to get a cut and then for me to get it cut so I drove all the way there for no reason. He never called apologize nothing.. I stormed out told him I drove there for no reason! He was relentlessly unapologetic.!. I gave him for years 30 sometimes 40 dollar tips. Dont get that’s how you treat a loyal, over paying, high tipping customer… Thought he had more respect than that! very disappointing honestly. I did call and confirm I had the appointment which I have a few witnesses that could vouch for me. And for the 9 years going to you I was a little late a few times! Dont mean you should give my appointment away..!!

Dear Nicholas,<br>I am sorry about this unfortunate experience due to a big misunderstanding on that day. You are a loyal customer to whom I used to care and respect and still do. When you book an appointment and you usually arrive late I still used to do my best to accommodate you even if it makes my schedule tighter! Now for this specific day you weren’t sure of coming on the that time and you were asked nicely to confirm ahead. But you did not! No one would like to waste trips and time and that applies to both of us. You hadn’t called and confirmed you were coming and that led to the undesirable situation you had.

Having been in Boston for a little under a month I was desperate for a haircut. Having done some quick google searches for barbers within the area I stumbled upon Melrose Barber Shop and it did not disappoint. One of the better haircuts I’ve ever had and that’s coming from someone who was loyal to his former barber for 5 years. Sami was a complete gentleman and really took his time. We broke words together and shared a lot in common. First attempt and it was a success.

Have been getting my hair cut by the owner (Abdul) since he was an employee at a shop in Medford. He is by far the best, most friendly, and most caring barber I have ever had. He cares about his work and he cares about his customers. I cannot recommend this barber shop enough!!!

Abdul has been cutting my and my sons hair for almost 10 years now. Always very happy with the results and just a great guy! Reasonably priced and very friendly service. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking and have.

They got my boyfriend in super fast on a Sunday, which we really appreciated. The barber took his time with his hair, and made sure he was very happy with it. We do prefer Pond View Barber Shop, a few blocks away, but they're closed on Sunday, and we would happily return to Melrose Barber shop.
