I have never NOT had a great haircut here. Every barber is professional , knowledgeable about how to cut all types of hair (Finding a barber who can do black hair is tough.. iykyk), and scheduling is typically a breeze. 10/10

I've been going here for the past 6 years, since it opened, and it has always been an excellent experience. Mike is a true professional and always makes me feel welcome. Becca or Danny cut my son's hair, and they always make him look good.

We love this barbershop! We’ve gotten to know the owner and everyone who works there. They are awesome with kids as well. They are huge in our local community and are always trying to make a positive impact as well! 10/10 recommend!

Fades Away Barbershop is one of the most professional, clean, and fun places to go to for a haircut. I have been consistently going to them for the past 3 years and they never disappoint! I always leave their feeling so fresh and so clean. Even during times that I travel I won’t go to another shop and I will wait it out till I get back to Boston! This place is a vibe and I appreciate everything you guys do!

Simply the best place I’ve been to. For years I was going to a different barber every other week. I’ve been here now going to Danny for over 4 years. Best cut, best service and great vibe in the shop with the barbers and customers. Can’t recommend them enough

Mike and the team at Fades Away are the best! I've been going since it opened and now my family goes there. Super friendly, quick and give an A+ cut every time! They also are very involved with the community and often give back to residents in need or great causes. An all around model local business and barbershop!

The barbershop is warm and welcoming, and I always feel so comfortable when I take my sons in to get their hair cut. Danny always does such a great job, and they give back to the Melrose community, too!

I’ve been going to fades away since the month they opened. Both Danny and fuzz are professional and top notch with any cut requested. I’ve since started bringing both my boys here as well. Danny is great with the little guys and always takes his time to let them settle and acclimate. Can’t say enough good stuff; great guys, great work.

Mistakes happen, but when your barber doesn’t tell you about them and then accepts a 5 dollar tip, it’s a one star from me. No way he didn’t notice this gaping hole in my hair in the back, and never mentioned anything about it. Rest of the cut was ok, but not great. Response to Owners Response: Yes I am sure, 5th of Oct, 10am. Called in to make appointment.
