Great service and amazing cut! I’ve been to a few barbers in the area but Nick and David have been my go to since I moved to Maynard 5 years ago. My 3 year old son has been coming to see them since he’s needed hair cuts and they’re amazing with him. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

I’ve been coming to this barbershop for the past three years, and they always do a great job. Today, David cut my hair, and he did an excellent job—very professional and detail-oriented. My teenage son, who is quite particular about his haircut, is always happy with the results here too. The team is skilled and passionate about what they do, and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I called last Monday to make an appointment for Saturday. They told me they don't do appointments on Saturday. It's walking only so I walked in notice that they take cash only. So they told me to walk down the street to go to an ATM. I came back sat down for half an hour with my son. After half an hour is up, they both looked at me and said oh, did you call ahead? We don't have any appointments today. After making me wait for a 1/2 an hour after walking all around town to get an AT.M.And that's why everyone goes to Max's barbershop right down the street

Hi Alex, we must say your review is not accurate. First, we are closed on Mondays, so it’s not possible that you called or spoke with anyone that day. Second, we do accept appointments on Saturdays in fact, we recommend them because Saturdays are our busiest day. You walked in without an appointment, asked where the nearest ATM was, and we kindly directed you. When you returned and told us you didn’t have a booking, we explained we were fully booked.<br><br>It’s unfortunate that instead of understanding how busy weekends are, you chose to leave a misleading review. We always strive to accommodate everyone, but walk-ins are never guaranteed on Saturdays especially without prior communication. We encourage anyone reading this to book ahead, especially for weekends, to ensure we can serve you properly. Thanks to our loyal clients for continuing to support us we’ll always keep it professional and honest.

Nick accommodated a last minute hair cut request after hours. He did a great job!! I realized I didn’t have enough cash to pay him after the cut. I felt terrible. He was so kind and said, “ Pay me later, don’t worry about it”! I was so humbled and I was grateful my son witnessed such a kind man! You scored regular customer Nick ! Thanks!

Highly recommend this barbershop. Haircuts are so well manicured and professionally done. Friendly service always. Nice quiet atmosphere sometimes punctuated with streaming sporting events or quiet background music. It’s always a pleasure to visit this shop. A little bit of an escape from the outside world. Just wanted to add that I had another great haircut today (January 23, 2025. Nick really knows how to deliver a wonderful haircut

Awesome. I’ve been coming here got a couple of years now after lucking into the place. I have hair trust issues so when I find someone good I stick with them, and Nick is a true artist of razor and blade (as well as a really good guy). The first couple of times I came in I explained what I wanted… Since then I have not had to say a word, I get in the chair, sometimes we chat, sometimes it’s quiet, but I always end up with a haircut I am thrilled with (not that I have complicated needs, but Nick really pays close attention to detail whatever the request). The prices are reasonable, the talent is strong… What’s not to love?

I've been going to Superior Cuts for years, and they've always given me the best haircut. These guys take pride in their work. They never rush through a haircut, and they always make sure that I'm happy with the results. They are also great with my son. They know how to make kids feel comfortable and at ease, and they always give my son a great haircut.

I moved from Boston to Maynard and was a little worried I would not find a barber that would meet my expectations. Thankfully, I found David and Nick, these two are professional and cut hair with passion. They are also super friendly and I even brought my young nephew in recently and David did a great job cutting his hair too. I would highly recommend.

David and Nick are professional, courteous, approachable, and excellent barbers. They’re great with kids, and are quick to engage you with conversation, while providing a top shelf trim. Top it all off, their prices are reasonable as well. The only downside is when I need a haircut on a day when they’re closed! 5/5 would recommend.
