After moving out of downtown Chicago, I was looking for a place to get my hair cut in Park Ridge that is a true barbershop that can fade, taper, and shave with a razor. Sam was my barber, and cut my hair perfectly—quick and high quality. After getting my hair cut downtown for years and struggling to find a legit barbershop in the northwest burbs, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Sam at Northwest Barber did an amazing job on my son’s blowout taper trim! My son was really anxious because he loved his original haircut and didn’t want too much taken off. Sam listened carefully, took his time, and gave him exactly what he wanted. The result was clean, fresh, and still true to his original style. Great experience all around — highly recommend Sam!

Sam did such a wonderful job with my three-year-old’s haircut! He was incredibly patient and kind, taking the time to help my son feel comfortable and calm. What could have been a stressful experience turned into a really positive one, and the haircut looks fantastic. Highly recommend Sam if you’re looking for someone great with kids!

I’ve been coming to this barbershop for over a year now and have only had good experiences every time. Sam is professional, efficient, and always delivers a great haircut and beard trim. He’s quick without ever compromising on quality. I usually just walk in and they take me quickly. Highly recommend Sam and the whole team if you’re looking for consistent, high-quality service.

I’m a man in my 40s… and always went to higher end salons for a haircut cut and I always did my beard by myself. So word-of-mouth… I tried the barbers here at Northwest barbershop. All I can say is… every experience has been “amazing.” They truly know how to do a stylish man’s haircut and how to blend it in with your beard. I have been getting compliments all over Chicago. I drive down here from Northbrook, IL because that’s how good these guys are. I highly recommend you give them a try.

This is the Barbershop you are looking for! 👍✨️👍✨️👍 I am a former Marine and have been getting fades for myself and my children for over 30 yrs. It is hard to find a GREAT fade. This is a barbershop not a salon and it is full of Barbers who know how to fade. I am so thankful that this Barbershop is in my neighborhood. The atmosphere is inviting, clean, and personal. Everyone is happy to engage in conversation. So, feel free to make a new friend. My kids were in love with the shops cat who had been here for many years. Unfortunately, a negative review from a one time guest, madeline galleta, has caused the shop to take the cat home. My children were saddened by this. I wish people could understand how much their negativity effects businesses and families. I hope our friendly neighborhood kitty comes back to visit us. We will continue to use this Barbershop as our family's go to shop! 🫶 Thank you Northwest Barbershop!!

Came here to get cleaned up for my wedding day. Great haircut and great service. I was extremely happy and grateful for helping me on my big day. Great atmosphere and they cut my hair just how I asked. They even fixed my hair getting it ready for me. All I had to do was go home and change into my wedding suit! Thank you so much for all the help on my big day!
