Always a great experience, a great cut and great atmosphere in this old school barber shop! Straight razors, hot foam, the whole 9 yards..... A great place!!

Got my haircut and beard trim by the bald guy, who I think is the owner. He was rough with the clippers and razor, and cut my ear! I only noticed afterwards because of how the whole thing was painful. Decent price for a bad time, try elsewhere.

I needed a haircut and tried two different places only to find out one was on vacation and the other only takes appointments, boo to them. I had not had a cut in a very long time and was concerned as my hair is curly. Three barbers, two people waiting before me. In short time I was up and had a great lady (Olive) was a great cut and did not hurry. Reasonable at 17$. I will return!

I went here on a whim and legitimately got the worst the worst cut I’ve ever had in my life. I specifically told my barber to not cut my hair in the front and she did so anyways and the fade she gave me wasn’t that clean. I really regret going here and ended up spending 30 bucks just to look stupid. If you’ve been going here and you like it than good for you but if you’re looking for a new barber shop in town I’d seriously give another place a try.

I have been here twice, with Leonoid as my barber. Each visit was outstanding, he is an experienced barber, he didn't just cut my hair, he shaped my eyebrows and razor edged my neckline. The second visit I had my haircut followed by a hot shave. It was quite relaxing and the skin on my face felt refreshed post shave. I recommend to anyone, beard or not. I received many complaints on both of my haircuts by complete strangers. I live 4 hours away, whenever I'm in town, I'll make time to stop here.

Just the nicest people here! GREAT haircuts for very reasonable prices. It's an old school barber shop. You won't be offered a cucumber water or a hot stone massage. Sit down, watch whatever happens to be on TV, enjoy a super nice hair cut, and get on with your day. I did get a shave once and will definitely do it again. Nice hot towel on your face to soften everything up, followed by an honest, clean, straight razor shave. That is as close as you'll get to a spa treatment here, and it's pretty darned great. Cash only, but there is an ATM right nearby.

This is a terrible barbershop! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. We just moved to the area and my boyfriend tried this place out…. Big mistake. They really messed up his hair. He asked for a fade and a trim at the top… this barber cut his hair so short and his hair line/side part was so crooked. When we got home I straightened out his hairline and we noticed the left side of his hair was different lengths (& it was incredibly noticeably). I tried to convince him to go back and have the barber fix it but he did not want go back just for them to make it worse. We will never return here or suggest this shop to anyone.

Leo and his team are great. Convenient hours (open 7:30am), close head shave, and always professional. They make you feel welcome, and it's the traditional local barber shop vibe. Been going for 5 years, will keep going back.

Love this place! Recently moved into downtown Palatine. I took a friend's recommendation to come here. My first two haircuts here we're great! The staff is friendly, the price is very reasonable. Definitely going back.
