This barbershop is hands down one of the best around — the atmosphere is welcoming, the shop is always clean, and the whole experience is top-tier from start to finish. My friend Sam does an amazing job with every single haircut, and her attention to detail truly sets her apart. She always makes sure everything is blended perfectly and styled just right. She does something spectacular every time she cuts my hair, and I always leave feeling confident and refreshed. I highly recommend booking with her — you won’t be disappointed!

Been going for a while and they do a great job there. Very friendly and very detailed. Been to Samantha the last couple of times. Definitely recommended.

We love this barber shop. The lady did a fantastic job on my son’s hair. He got a great hair cut. We have been here 2 times. Always great service. Very clean inside. Nice atmosphere. I highly recommend them.

I got a haircut from Kathie and it is the best haircut I’ve ever had. Also their prices are very reasonable. Great service, great people. I will be a permanent customer now.

Picked this shop out of many others in downtown because they were open at 10 am. Friendly stylists offering a fine cut. Prices a little lower than others Downton, too. But like the others, they don't take credit cards, so bring cash. Worth noting that they don't try to upsell you on a line of hair product, which is also nice.

4/2/2021 3:30pm I was going to Post Office & in need of HairCut. Low & behold Washington Street Barber Shop is nearby (short walk across the street). I've never been here before. I popped in & asked if I needed an appointment? Young lady said no & took care of me immediately. The young lady Kathie S. Is Fantastic & did a Wonderful job. EVERYONE are very polite & positive with super customer service skills. (Even the customers) Like I said before, 1st time here But will Not be the last Time!! Such a beautiful experience. Jon 🇺🇸 Viet Nam enlisted Veteran Extremely Approved!! Side notes: I believe I was very fortunate (time wise) when I walked in & promptly served. I Suggest you call 1st to get appointment... Also, Kathie was wonderful, as mentioned. But, I truly believe you Won't be disappointed by the other professional Barbers here. They ALL are Very, very talented & great. I shall end this by saying "WOW!! Thank you All at Washington Street Barber Shop, Downers Grove" ✌✌ out

I see Ana with appointment. Always on time, quality cut and much better than the chain store operations that proliferate everywhere. Good value and I always feel welcome. Been going there for about a year and highly recommend WASHINGTON St barber to anyone looking old school service, convenient location, quality haircut with outstanding value!
