Headspace is awesome. I have difficult hair to work with (even my cowlicks have cowlicks), but Jase always has me looking great. Recently, my daughter had a cut and dye with Rebecca and was super happy with the results.

We love having this team at our Back-to-School Fair every year in Streator, IL! They really do a phenomenal job sending these kids off to school with confidence! Thank you for donating your time, funds and efforts!

Very friendly staff. Went in for a color consultation. Hunter was my barber. Here is a before picture with my hair cut. To be continued after this weekend 😊 ***update*** After my scalp experienced this excruciating pain, ozzing, skin tightness, scabbing I told Hunter I didn’t not want to return. Especially since he denied it being a chemical burn. Instead he said it was probably due to me having a “pimple” or “ingrown hair.” I said I will pay for the service, just will not return for the 3rd bleaching. He said “no you don’t have to pay for it. I just don’t want you to write a bad review.” I stayed quiet. It’s February (5 months later.) lost hair. My scalp was and is not the same. I still have scabs. My head burns with shampoos. I’ve spent money on trying to see what could work. So I called their shop. I asked to speak with the owner. He seemed concerned. He seem to want to find a solution. So I thought. I sent him the pictures. And nothing. I called the number provided. Nothing. I called the shop to which he said he thought my text was “junk mail.” Asked to call me the following day. I had work that evening. I asked if he would as free to talk that following day. Heard nothing back. I reached out again. Nothing.

Venus, you know you spoke with me (the owner) multiple times on the phone.. Lets give people a clear picture. <br><br>Venus came in for an all over platinum blonde hair coloring service. Hunter performed a patch test and she seemed well capable. He began the service using 20 volume developer, one of the lowest and safest. 15 minutes after being applied you informed him of irritation, so he rinsed early. <br><br>After making sure you were okay, he decided not to charge you because you didnt achieve the desired look, and you left. <br><br>6 months later (after coloring your hair elsewhere multiple times) you call us demanding to speak with me wanting compensation for the previous service.. we kindly denied after you admitted to a scalp condition you “forgot” to inform your stylist about. We even recommended you to a dermatologist friend.<br><br>Once again, I am sorry you feel negatively about your experience with us.. but Hunter did everything correctly and professionally. He is not the reason for your hair loss..

My husband and two sons (10 & 14) have been coming here for years. They have used various barbers at the space & each one of them are hugely talented in their artistry! This team follows trends and takes their time - my guys always walk out looking their best! (The shop is really modern & spacious as well!)

Would give 10 stars if we could! My 4 year old got his hair cut and wanted a faux hawk. Hunter did such a thorough job asking questions and checking in to make sure we were happy with the length and style. My son absolutely loved him and loves his hair. Clean, trendy salon, and super friendly barbers!

Gill did an amazing job with my haircut! I never know how to cut my hair, so I asked Gill to cut it shorter and do what she felt would look best. She knocked it out of the park! The place has a great vibe also, and everyone is friendly and fun to chat with. Great experience all around and highly recommend!!!

My 15 yr old son grew out his wavy/thick hair to almost neck length and wanted a trim. My husband took him to a place he read that had great reviews and they just BUTCHERED his hair! This "barber" cut off all the length and left his whole head looking like a toddler cut it. He was in tears. I had passed Headspace a few times when going across the street to get boba with my son and thought we could give them a try. I immediately booked their next appointment. They are so busy and booked out in advance that we had to wait a few days, but let me tell you... WORTH THE WAIT!!! Noel was our barber. He talked to my son about what happened, told him what he could do & talked about other things to make my son feel at ease. After an hour, Noel was done and my son looked AMAZING! He takes pride in his hair so when we left, he couldn't believe how good it looked & he was smiling from ear to ear! COMPLETELY worth the wait & price. Won't be going anywhere else anymore!!!! I'm not really one to write reviews but I had to for Taylor, She's the best barber around and finally has her own shop! Taylor has been cutting my hair for the past 3 years, and our relationship started when I was looking for a cosmologist. It just so happened she could both give me the tightest fades and cleanest dyes. I've since moved to the east coast and still haven't found a new barber, I just wait until I'm back in town to book another appointment. I always look forward to getting draped up and catching up with Taylor. The best part is I don't really need to specify what kind of cut I'm looking for, I just gotta tell her to clean me up and it's a 10/10 every time. Just take a look at her work, she's willing to experiment and will bring your hair game to the next level.

Taylor is a master of her craft! Her new barbershop looks so incredible and gives off such a great vibe! Which directly reflects the work her and her staff create. The service is outstanding and I felt so comfortable with it being such a clean and welcoming environment. The entire staff has great personality. Highly recommend
