I make the trip all the way in from the far suburbs since this has been my favorite neighborhood shop for 10+ years. Worth the trips. DO CALL AHEAD FOR APPOINTMENT

Insane quality for the price, and the barbers actually care about their customers. Straight razor trims and professional skills make this the best corner barber in Chicago.

Slava and Omar are both awesome people! Affordable and quality cuts. They do beards too, nice and tight. Always welcoming. Great neighborhood barber shop… incredible value for the price!!!!!

I've been going to Welles Park Barber Shop for about 15 years. Slavka and Omar are great people. They are very friendly and great listeners. They give excellent haircuts and are very thorough. I'd highly recommend them if you are looking to get a premium haircut at a great price.

Maybe the best haircut I've ever had. I'm visiting the Chicago area and needed a quick haircut and just wondered into this shop. The owner spent 40 minutes cutting my hair, which I don't have much of, and it was amazing. The hot shaving cream and straight razor cut on the neck and sideburns was incredible. Her attention to detail was something I've never experienced at a corner barber shop. When she was done and told me it was $20.00 I was floored. It was amazing.

I've been coming to this shop for over a decade. Even now, when I don't live near Lincoln Square, I ride the brown line up to Western just to get a haircut (and shop at Laurie's Planet of Sound): excellent, careful, attentive haircut at a great price. Laid-back atmosphere. I love Slavka, and I love this shop.

Suzie's the best. Lots of balding (or bald?) men frequent this barbershop. But don't worry: they cut my full head of hair well. I love the conversation. Like going back home to your Slavic mother. When they talk to each other in Serbian they are not talking trash. At least I don't think so.

Best haircut in the city, I love them. I drive a long way to see them!!! So nice, traditional, fun, and they do such a great job. My last haircut I said I loved the witch hazel they use for after-shave on my neck and the DEMANDED I take a free bottle. So funny. I love them!!!
