Awesome experience! Discovered this place from a social media post. A training academy for aspiring barbers. Instructors pay close attention. Jay has handled my haircuts twice. Personable and very diligent in his craft. Solid haircut all around. Right off the Cumberland Blue line stop. Was able to purchase an unlimited haircuts for the year package. Outstanding value. Note: student barbers are permitted to accept gratuities. Also, they do offer shaves. Have not indulged myself yet, but will do soon.

Just gotten a shear work by my older brother Oliver at Walhs Barber Academy I would say he did good, better then my other barber from last year would like to say my brother instructor taught him well.

Have been there 3x and 3x husband has walked out very happy. I thought it was great and disproved the" if you pay for a $12 haircut, that's what you get." He looks great.

Just had a haircut done by Hayden and it was absolutely great and sharp. Didn’t feel like I got a haircut from barber academy, students here are professionals and pretty neat and clean at what they are doing. Happy to recommend this place to my friends and relatives🙌. P.S: Hayden deserves something special.

I came and saw a man named Lucien With the amount of professionalism and just all around good vibes of this place and the man himself. I pretty much don't think I'm going to come anywhere else to get a haircut. Even though that this is a training center these guys are doing A+ work.

I recently visited the Wahl Barber Academy for a haircut, and I wanted to leave a review about the professionalism and quality of the environment. From the moment I walked in, every single staff member and student I interacted with was friendly and professional. The atmosphere is clean, well-organized, and clearly focused on training students to a high standard of customer service. My barber, Chris, was fantastic in his approach. He was friendly, professional, and very dedicated to the service. While he is definitely still honing his skills as expected in an academy setting, his focus and dedication were commendable. Overall, I had a great experience and felt very well taken care of. If you're looking for a service that supports a student learning their craft in a controlled and professional setting, I would recommend the Wahl Barber Academy.

Today I took my 13-year-old son to this place for the third time. Unfortunately, we were assigned someone with zero experience, and they completely ruined his hair. It was so bad that my son doesn’t even want to go back to school. He had long, beautiful curly hair, and he walked out with an extremely short, uneven haircut. It took two and a half hours, and the result was awful. What’s even worse is that the instructor was there supposedly guiding the student, and I can’t believe he didn’t say anything while my son’s hair was being completely messed up—even after two and a half hours. How could he not notice the damage being done? Unfortunately, I didn’t get the student’s name, but I truly hope no one else has to go through this. I understand this is a learning environment, but there has to be a minimum standard of skill and proper supervision before letting someone work on a client—especially a child. You ruined a 13-year-old boy’s hair, and the lack of oversight made it even worse.

Recently visited WAHL Barber academy & was blessed by the services of a student named Kamille, not only did the services she provided exceed the average standards of what a barber should be doing, her customer service & communication made it a comfortable inviting experience, 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommended, the honorable & wise mentorship she’s received from this school shows in craft. Truly a privilege to be amongst the best.

Jessica cut my hair today. This was the best haircut i have received in the last 5 years. I explained my struggles with past haircuts, how i wanted my hair to be and not to be like, and Jessica listened to and executed on everything that i was looking for. The cut was very cost effective too at only $14 + tip, which Jessica definitely earned a big tip.
