I did a haircut and a shave. I was debating going because of the high cost but I decided to try it. Yamen gave me the best haircut I have ever received in my life. AJ was fantastic and I will definitely be back regularly for a cut. Fade was perfect. Service was efficient, refreshing and relaxing. Can’t wait to go back but this haircut looks like it’ll stay great for a couple weeks!

Having lived in a few different states so far in my life, I know the difficulty of finding a good barber. It feels like there is constantly a trade off between reliability, quality, cost, and availability. AJ and the team at Truefitt are the best experience I’ve ever had and having moved away from Chicago, I greatly miss being able to count on him as my go to barber! For multiple years I knew I could rely on an stress-free, high-quality experience when booking my haircuts with AJ. Anyone looking for a great experience and phenomenal haircut should not hesitate to try this place out.

My first time going in and I think I’ve found my new barber. After a lot of research and debating between paying the standard $45-50 at every other barber in the area or a little extra for truefitt, the extra $15 for the truefitt experience (plus tip) is well worth the price. You really get your money’s worth here. Pleasant environment (complementary coffee, tea, water, etc.), top tier service and etiquette from the employees. Most importantly, the hair cut was excellent. My barber, Andrew, was very helpful with providing guidance on my hairstyling and even gave recommendations for updating my hair care routine. The barbers there seem to take extra time to ensure every detail of your cut is just right. Got so many compliments on my cut just after the first day. I used to travel to the suburbs for a $25 standard cut. This experience completely changed how I view hair cuts and hair care. Cannot recommend enough

I have been here several times. They do nice work as far as haircuts go. It’s a nice ambience as well. The reason for the low review is that I missed an appointment and was charged the full $60 for the haircut. I didn’t realize that I had been charged and went in the next day to give the barber I had missed $10 because I felt bad about missing the appointment. He gladly took the money with a big smile and never mentioned to me that I had already been charged the full $60 amount. There was no warning at all about this policy or anything else they just took the money. I don’t feel like that was right. Especially in view of the fact that I had been there several times and my wife had also taken my kids there. So be careful that is their policy. I’m telling you because they sure won’t.

I haven't received a haircut in about 4 months and every barber I walked to while my car was being serviced was booked for Saturday which was understandable. I walked into Truefitt & Hill and was greeted with a smile and an immediate response. All I have to say is that Lorraine did a phenomenal job cutting my hair and gave me exactly what I wanted. The services provided made my day extra better, and the scents were amazing. I now have a new barber here in Chicago after moving from Indianapolis. Thank you!

Charlie did an awesome job on my hair, and I received a bunch of compliments on it afterwards. This was my first time going to a fancier barbershop as a treat to myself while on vacation, and it was definitely worth the visit! I’d recommend this place to others too!

Had a Royal haircut appointment with AJ, and he gave a nice haircut and good experience. Definitely will book him again! Love the classic and old style of the shop! My first experience with other barber was not quite as good but Linda the manager reached out. So they value customer satisfaction as a business 👍
