Berto is different. From day one, he's shown incredible patience with my specific requests, never rushing or getting frustrated when I ask for adjustments. His professionalism is unmatched. He actually listens to what you want, asks the right questions, and then delivers exactly what you envisioned. Every. Single. Time. What sets Berto apart isn't just his technical skill (which is exceptional), but his consistency. I've been to him multiple times now, and each cut is as perfect as the last. No off days, no rushed jobs; just reliable excellence. He takes pride in his craft, and it shows. For anyone who's been bouncing between barbers trying to find "the one," this is your sign. Berto has earned a client for life. My only regret is that it took me two years to find him!

Been getting my haircut with Matt (Metin) for a few months now—he is super professional, fast, and consistent. He gets me in and out of the chair in no time and the haircut looks good every time. I have already recommended him to a couple of my buddies that have complemented my haircut.

It was hard to find a reliable barbershop in the city, but after discovering Traditions, I won’t go anywhere else. Berto’s attention to detail is impeccable—he consistently takes the time to make sure everything is just right. I always leave the chair looking sharp and feeling confident. I moved to the Midwest from NYC and finding barbers out here that can rival the cuts I’d get there was always a challenge. When I found Berto, I found what I was looking for. I live in Rogers Park and work in Evanston, so the trek isn’t necessarily the most direct. But it’s worth it to get my cuts from Berto. He’s accommodating, timely, personable, AND he does a damn good job with my cuts. I come in at least every 2 weeks and it’s worth the travel and the price. And the vibe in the shop is always chill. Strongly recommend checking him out. It’s worth noting that he always does my cuts before major events in work/life. And he actually cut my hair for my wedding, headshots at work, and a trip to the White House.

This is the first time I've gotten a haircut at Traditions by Anthony. This is the best haircut I've ever gotten. He took his time and asked many questions so that it was to my liking. My hair and beard came out better than I expected! I highly recommend him. @ant_theebarber

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for years and the service is always professional while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. I’ve been getting haircuts recently from Alex who is fantastic and takes his time to deliver attention to detail during his cuts. Before him Carlos and was cutting my hair and he’s great too. Can’t recommend them enough.

Just moved to west town and booked with Anthony. Anthony was clinical and executed one of the best haircuts that I’ve had in a while. This guy will give you a smooth fade and is lethal with the scissors. Walked out, feeling like the fresh prince of Bel-Air. Also the environment was vibrant, comical, and welcoming. You know that you’re at the right place when you walk in the barbershop and you have Friday playing on the TV. Very impressed by Anthony and the crew and will definitely be coming back for fresh cuts!
