Been trying to find barbers that price according to the service. This barber ship is a bit pricey, however they really tend to your needs and actually cut your hair during the period that you scheduled it, meaning you're getting the bang for the buck. They ask you constantly if you want any more changes, so it's worth it! Please tip well and be sure to show up on time!

I used to love this barber shop, but their new pricing makes them more expensive than a typical barber or even a nice salon. $60+tip for a fade with a v-cut in the back is way higher than industry standard and doesn't even include a wash/dry. The service doesn't match the price.

I highly recommend Public Barber for their quality and friendliness. I've been coming here for a while now. They will always help and talk with you to get the haircut that you want. Make sure to bring cash!

Really cute neighborhood barber shop. I recently moved nearby and needed a skin fade, and was able to book an appointment next day. Freddie was awesome and super professional, I wanted to try a different cut and he gave me personalized tips on what would look best. I absolutely love my hair and plan to be a regular. I highly highly recommend the Public Barber!!

I just had my first haircut with Emily at Public Barber. It was the best cut I’ve had in a long time. She knows her stuff well and does a great job with curly hair. She took the time to show me how to style and shape it properly. She corrected a few mistakes from my previous barber. Cool shop and great cut. Price is very reasonable for the expertise. An all around amazing experience here. After one appointment with Michael, The Public Barber has been my person go-to, as well as the place I suggest to all of my friends. The space is intimate, yet welcoming, and everyone is always so friendly. Great prices too!

I couldn’t recommend Public Barber more highly! A friend turned me on to their shop about a year ago, and I’ve been a regular ever since. Michael does a fantastic job with every single cut—his skill, attention to detail, and eye for design are truly top-notch. At my very first appointment, he suggested a few tweaks to my old hairstyle that instantly elevated it, and ever since, I get compliments from friends and coworkers alike for days after each cut. The shop itself is bright, clean, and inviting, and it's clear their team prioritizes creating the kind of welcoming, inclusive environment that makes every visit genuinely enjoyable. I've been getting my hair cut here by Larissa for going on two years now, and I can't see myself wanting to switch any time soon. She nails every cut, and has always been super friendly and made me feel welcome in her chair. The shop itself is gorgeous, and while I haven't personally gone to any of the other barbers, they always create a great atmosphere to be in, and I've seen their clients walk out with fantastic cuts as well. Definitely appreciative to have The Public Barber in Uptown!
